(KJV is best, Jim but NKJV is okay for beginners. You must read to grow now. Start in the New Testament, read VERY slowly, with faith (believing what you’re reading), and pray for clarity. I prayed to Jehovah to save me from alcohol and he did! I was a bad alcoholic for years. God took my craving for it away. Praise God!!!!
@douglaspaxson that is wonderful... Praise The Lord! 🙌 He took it from my husband and he was sober for 4½years. The past 2 years have been miserable since he started drinking again. Our life is a constant rollercoaster ride. I'm trying to love my husband and pray and see him thru this, but it's getting really hard. I hate being around him when he's drunk. He says he isn't hurting no one but himself but that's so not true because my heart is breaking. Will you please pray for us... for my family. I know there is power in prayer. I've witnessed it before. I'm just praying the good Lord will intervene. I would really appreciate your prayers. May God bless you.

Today, ask yourself, who will pay for your sin? You, being separated from God forever, in the torments of hell? ...Or have the wages been paid in full, by Jesus?
Hell is a real place, do not go there...Jesus/Yeshua said, repent or perish, unless you repent you too will perish...stop the practice of sin...Receive/believe in Jesus...Follow him all the days of your life...❤😊...

Doing, thinking, speaking selfish evil stuff hurts others, God, and ourselves. In Isaiah mentions we are wretched, dirty like rags. Not good by God's standards. No statute of limitations. Judgment day, trust in Jesus to pay the fine. In need of spiritual will for the soul.
Praise God the father through the Lord Jesus Christ for Antonio's broken spirit and contrite heart! I pray that he grows in the grace and the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and becomes fully equipped with the word of God!

This was a good Gospel Word preached. But we always have to remember it's not for our satisfaction to see if a person is sorry for their sins unless they come balling in tears or holding back tears from the conviction of The Holy Ghost. We pray for them, give them the Truth that they reach that level but that only comes from them looking thru The Word of God and beholding their face in the mirror with the lenses of God to see themselves as we first saw ourselves. As unclean and needing God thru The Word to be saved and cleansed for Eternal Life after death.

I've watched hundreds and hundreds of rays videos. This is the very first time he's let somebody pray out loud. I really enjoyed that
I, too, need prayer for my drinking habits. But more than that, I must stop smoking and I have prayed and tried over and over and over again and again… perhaps someone on here can reach the Lord through prayer for me! I can’t seem to get His help on my own, as much as I’ve asked Him! It makes me feel like He has given up on me 😭
I really don’t drink all that much but I know it’s wrong, because I have a few every evening, which is habitual and shows lack of self control and which I know is one of the fruits of the Spirit. Sometimes I feel like I have the Spirit and then I don’t. I’m so confused y’all. I read God’s Word most days, (not an exaggeration!) I talk to Him all throughout the day, I have those little tugs on my heart when I know something is wrong…..Please, can someone help me reach God?! I truly want to stop and I want to be “positive” that I belong to Jesus and that my name in God’s Book of Life. I thank you in advance for any and all prayers! ♥️✝️
When something has a stronghold on you, prayer and fasting is amazing. Sad that many of the "modern" translations leave the word fasting out of this verse.
Drinking/drugs is a demonic stronghold.... I've been there and Praise Jesus, He set me free from drugs, opiates, drinking and cigarettes!🙌🙌🙌🙌 Nothing else EVER worked more than temporarily if at all!

@@angelacochran8 You're so welcome.😀 Try for 24 hours to start, just drinking lots of water... lots. Maybe some watered down fruit juice. Pray as often as you can, on your knees, really humble yourself, confess your sin of drinking/drugs and anything else you know to be a habitual sin. Ask not only His forgiveness, but also for cleansing of it and renewing of your mind! Get really real with The Lord Jesus Christ and He will be there!

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Jesus Is faithful to unchain us *if we truly want to be free!* He isn't about to leave us bound in darkness. I will continue to pray for you! 🛐✝️

If you ever need a quick measurement, we hope this small ruler will help you out. Even more than that, we hope this card will show how you "measure up" using the most important standard. Read the other side to see if you meet that standard.
You may not have realized it, but each of us will be “measured” by a standard when we die: the Ten Commandments. How do you "measure up?" Ever lied or stolen (regardless of the value)? Ever looked with lust, committing adultery in your heart? (see Matthew 5:28) The Bible even says that hatred is the same as murder (1 John 3:15). Ever been guilty of that? God gave us this standard to show us how far we fall short. HOWEVER, God sent his Son, Jesus to this earth. He lived a perfect life and gave himself up on a cross to pay for our sins. Then he rose from the dead! God commands you to repent and put your faith in Christ. Stop striving to “earn” heaven, and realize your total inability to meet God's standard. Trust in what Christ did to save you. Read your Bible every day and obey what you read.
I know a lot of people who are into spirit guides. That's witchcraft. These guys should make some gospel tracks that talk about spiritual guides.

SIN according to the Bible is transgression of the LAW (1Jn 3:4)
We can repent of the sins that we are aware of, but according to Acts 15:21 we are to hear "Moses" (the Law) every Sabbath and thus learn the Law and repent from that which we have transgressed.
We, as believers in the saving grace of Yahweh through Yahshua, His Son obey out of LOVE for this great gift that has been offered to us:
"For this is the LOVE of God, that we guard His Commands, and His Commands are NOT burdensome." (1Jn 5:3)
Be warned that to continue in transgression of the LAW (anomia) will result in you hearing those dreaded words "Depart from Me, I never knew you, you who work LAWLESSNESS." (Matt 7:23)

Name, (Something personal) I want to say something. I don't know what you think about the afterlife, but I know that if we've lied, stolen, used God's name as a swear word, (eg. OMG), looked at someone with lust, we're going to go to hell. That breaks my heart, I don't want you to go to hell!
God is paying us in death for our sins. He's giving us the death sentence!
But there IS a way to find everlasting life! Please listen! The 10 commandments are called the moral law. You and I broke the law. Jesus paid the fine! THAT'S what happened on that cross! If you're in court and you have speeding fines, a judge will legally let you go if someone paid your fine. God can legally take the death sentence off you! Because of what Jesus did on the cross! He rose from the dead and DEFEATED death!
All you have to do to find everlasting life is repent of your sins, turn away from them, and say, "God, I am sorry for my sins!" And trust and put your faith in Jesus!
Don't trust your goodness to save you, God PROMISES, and he CANNOT lie, He'll forgive you in an INSTANT and grant you everlasting life as a free gift! Not because YOU'RE good, but because HE'S good, kind, and merciful! 😃
Bottom line: Repent of your sins, and TRUST and put your FAITH in Jesus! 😁

I always explain belief, repentance and a contrite heart, because so many people in today's post Christian culture don't know the definitions of these words.
if the God of the Old Testament is the same one as the God of the New Testament then why did the Jews reject Jesus. The Old Testament is part of the Hebrew Bible. Jesus didn’t meet the criteria of the Jewish messiah that’s in the Hebrew Bible. Why would God give the Jews a messiah that didn’t match his own prophecies???
A minimal amount of research into "prophecies Jesus fulfilled",... or similar, indicate your premise is not accurate.
Please provide the Scriptures you believe contradict Jesus being the Messiah so that someone may be able to respond specifically.

This "Sinner's Prayer" is not biblical. Secondly, I thought there is only one mediator between God and Man--Jesus?
Ray clearly made an intercessory prayer for this man. That goes against the Holy Scriptures if you are truly a "Bible Believer."
How do you know "It is finished" actually means: Jesus died on the cross for you and for your sins.

In Greek, the word for “it is finished,” teleo, means “accomplish” or “fulfill.” The requirements of the Law had been fulfilled through Jesus’ death on the cross for our sins.

These are the bible verses which mentions Christ died for our sins

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed..
No seriously... How is "scripture might be fulfilled" the same as: ""Jesus died on the cross for your sins to be forgiven."

Look back to Genesis 3:15 AMP -
“And I will put enmity (open hostility)
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed (offspring) and her Seed;
He shall [fatally] bruise your head,
And you shall [only] bruise His heel.”
This was the first prophecy where God promised that Mary’s Seed, Jesus, would crush Satan’s head. Satan would only bruise His heel through Christ’s death, but Jesus would crush his head through His resurrection. Scripture was fulfilled back in Genesis through Jesus’ death on the cross.

To what "scripture" is the Bible referring about in John 19 - 28 ?
@@-J-H- I assume you're referring to John 19:28, which says, “After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said in fulfillment of the Scripture, “I am thirsty.”
This was referring to these verses:
Psalm 22:15 AMP
My strength is dried up like a fragment of clay pottery; And my [dry] tongue clings to my jaws; And You have laid me in the dust of death.
Psalm 69:21 AMP
They (self-righteous hypocrites) also gave me gall [poisonous and bitter] for my food, And for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

The Bible says "scripture might be fulfilled" through Jesus' death.
It does NOT say: "Jesus knowing that sins will be forgiven"
So, how? And where did this conclusion come from?

Is it morally wrong to falsely accuse someone? by what moral standard?
If false accusation is considered wrong/bad/evil, it logically assumes good exists, necessitating moral law to differentiate good/evil, necessitating moral law giver (the triune God)
