How would you respond to the question, "Who created God?"
"HE IS NOT A CREATION, HE IS ETERNAL!"
There’s a few responses I’ve seen. One is to say He is uncreated to which the skeptic will usually respond with why can’t the universe be uncreated to which you can say there is both biblical and secular evidence that the universe had a beginning.
The other response I saw goes something like this. “Ok let’s pretend God was created by God #2. Then what?” Usually they’ll say who created God 2, and you respond with God 3. Keep going until they realize their question doesn’t really make sense since the answers don’t make sense either. I might not have that exactly right, but the point is the buck has to stop somewhere and saying God is created means He isn’t God then.
❤ Response: Means you are asking about a created god. But, GOD of the Bible is the CREATOR. Not creation...
Depends on the situation and how much time I'd have, but a few ways -
Short version: "Nothing did. God always existed - He didn't 'begin to exist'. He's the necessary First Cause."
Longer version: "Everything that begins to exist has a cause. This means that in order for anything to 'begin to exist', there must be (what Aristotle called) an Unmoved Mover - something that 'didn't begin to exist' - otherwise we'd run into a logical problem called Infinite Regression. Since Infinite Regression is logically fallacious, it cannot exist in reality, so everything that begins to exist ultimately owes its cause to an uncaused first cause: in other words, God." (the fancy terminology would state it like this: "Everything causal ultimately owes its existence to at least one non-causal thing.")

Oftentimes there's the counterargument "Well, if something had to always-have-existed to explain everything that begins to exist: why can't we just say the universe is the thing that always existed?"
To answer that: science, pretty much!
-Heat death: if time were infinite into the past, the proposed 'heat death' of the universe would have already arrived.
-Red shift: Galaxies are still moving away from each other, and this is observable (through 'red shift', red colors being 'shifted' from others due to the object moving further away at very high speeds). If time were infinite into the past, they'd already be out of 'sight', even if ours somehow were still together.
-Basic philosophy regarding infinite regression: time isn't 'infinite into the past'. If it were, there'd always be another moment of time (hour, day, eon, who cares) before the one in which you read this sentence: but since you read this sentence, you're not at the 'end of an infinite' and thus time isn't infinite into the past. So either time began to exist (there's a first 'moment of time'), or an infinite regression exists (which is logically impossible).
=Related: Einstein's theory of general relativity. Since, per general relativity, time and matter are 'co-relative', that means the 'first moment of time' is also the first 'moment of matter'.
-Universal models: specifically, that no proposed model of the universe that is 'past infinite' (such as a cycling 'big bang->big crunch->repeat') has ever proven mathematically sound. The closest to such a looping model requires at least one initial starting condition to be set to negative infinity - and an infinite quantity is logically impossible to instantiate in reality, much less a negative-infinite.
I usually respond with something like, “in order to have a first creation, its creator cannot be created himself and has to be eternal”.
My spouse was exactly like this man, arogant, full of pride, mocking any believer who approached him. He scoffed at christians and called them crazy or a pharisee. Said Christians think they're better than him.
It took a tragic event to bring him to his knees, repent, and believe in Jesus, our gracious and meriful loving Father. Today, he leads a critical thinking class along with our pastor. Most of the people are devout athiests or belong to cults.
Anyone who knew my husband before, an angry, bitter hateful man, has seen a true miracle right before their eyes!

Before I was saved I despised the hymn Amazing Grace. I only associated it with funerals.😢 But the Lord, in His mercy, removed the stone from my heart and revealed Himself to me- after that, the hymn took on a whole new meaning. It is now my favorite. ❤️

As I heard recently in the Living Waters podcast, the problem with so called “back-slidden” Christians (which in reality do not exist because that would mean they were never Christians to begin with) is usually an issue with the heart, not a logical issue.

Everything that exists; from morality, the order and grand design of the universe, the ability to logically reason, a basis to do so by, an overwhelming amount of archeological evidence, and even people's withdrawn mindset/heart toward God.

I definitely understand that man! Me personally I’ve watched so many evangelism videos on TH-cam, and in comparison I see this encounter as a big success! Despite his attitude toward it all, he listened and talked and was even respectful to a degree. From the outside it appears this guy has some huge walls around his heart but I pray Jesus can touch his and so many others like him who have been hardened by life!

Dust and dirt itself will just stay and remain as dust and dirt, even after billions of years. His pride is sooooo large, he is just completely unwilling to let the word enter his heart and he is working hard to close himself. When Ray said "I love you" to him, his expression was very telling. I feel bad for him. Something hurt him so deeply and he has built walls to serve as a defense mechanism. Nothing gets in, not even good things.

I have encountered many like this, who don't want to entertain the idea that they may be wrong! When we consider the idea of Creation, we simply must be rational to believe that Creation demands a Creator. And apart from God, there simply is no real culmination to the existence of mankind.
YOU call it "a creation". That's not evident in the universe. Nothing about the universe "appears created".

Our current scientific knowledge does not assert that nothing created everything nor does it assert that to be impossible.
For that end point: I'm reminded of some folks trying to 'argue away' Job's notes on behemoth by arguing that Job was talking about:
-An alligator (because alligators eat grass, of course)
-Or a hippo (because hippo tails are *definitely* like cedars)
The strange conclusions some people will look for..
That's why we have to use the law.

Well, Romans 1 does say that God gives us over to our desires. This is why it is URGENT for one to repent NOW!

If he says why is God sitting on the sidelines when lawlessness is happening. Where is this man & what is he doing to better people's situations.
As a christian, I would really like to see you and the other men of Living Waters talk about God, who knew sin would enter the world. Who knew thousands of people would go to hell. And before the creation already planned the send Jesus Christ into the world to save us. I am a serious christian but struggle with the idea of God, knowing all beforehand and yet create the world and us. Thr longrr I think about is, the harder I seem to find it. Somehow the people you meet in the streets, never come up with these kinds of questions. Hopefully you could do a "show" about this subject one day.

This breaks my heart. Its really sad to see this apathetic man speaking the way he did of the Almighty Sovereign Father and our Lord and Saviour. Im not judging him. Whom I to judge? The question that I would ask or need to be asked, if a God exist an that God wants it's existence to be known by mankind, why does it always has to be the person presenting the claim for the existence for that God??. In another words, if a God wants it's existence to be known to mankind should it be human job to evangelized or present evidence for that God?? because it's the exact thing Ray is doing in his video he's the one present the existence or claim for a God.
My heart breaks for men like this.
My father was a staunch atheist, till the day he died.
He had one of the worst cancers known, colin cancer.
After surgery, and months of chemo therapy, the cancer was gone!
Before his final exam, before being deemed cured of cancer, I told him it was a miracle of God.
He smirked, and said God had nothing to do whit it!
He said it was the skill of the doctors and surgeons, and that God did nothing.

They think its expanding because of the redshift caused by the Doppler effect. However there are alternative explanations for redshift that do not require expansion. If redshift is not solely distance related that basically puts the nail in the coffin for BB theory. When Webb telescope looked further back into space they were expecting larger galaxy formations due to the fact that the early universe had more matter to accumulate. However the alleged older more distant galaxies had the same size and smaller than they were expecting.
God may be infinite, but space is finite.

At 10:16 i have a French translation (Job 40, 10 NEG79) we don't have the term dinosaur being used but rather the term hippopotamus being used (and in the KJV translation the term used is Behemoth, Job 40:15) Are you sure this refers to a dinosaur? And where would this difference come from?

3)Ask his background; if he is a student of Physics tell him 2 ways 1)Spacetime(Albert Einstein'way of understanding) so GOD has to be soneone outside space and time (which is beyond our understanding, at that moment take him back to Ps 139:6)
2)Take a stone near him, ask him does he know whether there are atoms ,electrons, protons and neutrons which keep moving ,does he know? Mostly he'll answer "YES" but that too without seeing ,he believes this imagine the Universe where all quadrillions of quadrillions of such non living things with massive amount of energy exist, that too with a specific order, a certain discipline of distance between stars ,planets,celestial bodies and you say its without a certain Creator, even his cell phone will not be charged if its not connected to electric plug.
