Now that you mention it, GoldenNinja3000, I also get more positive feelings when I build LEGO Harry Potter sets than when I build from other themes. I might even forgive the price of a LEGO Harry Potter set that's just a bit overpriced if I really enjoy the build and the set as a whole. This Shrieking Shack set is no exception. While I do wish that Snape was included and Sirius had leg printing, I still think that this set has a nice selection of figures. The shack itself is much more accurate than the 2004 version, and while the Whomping Willow might be a bit repetitive and the moon build and the gate are just extras for play, I think that they fit the setting pretty well. I agree that this set should've been 80 instead of 90 dollars, but I still got a good feeling after finishing building this set without making the price change my opinion on this set entirely. It's great when the LEGO Harry Potter theme provides so much detail to the builds, even if a few of the minifigures could've been better.
I agree what you say about building Harry Potter sets, but I have that same feeling also with the annual Winter Village sets, at least the newer ones like Gingerbread House and newer.
if you want rons clothes to look muddy get the hospital wing ron steal his torso and attach it to this one but i am aware its a bright red not dark red
Okay... I wasn't the only one whose house seemed crooked.. I guess that's how it came out to everyone that built it. I thought it was just me and my bad building 😬 I almost had a panic attack while trying to adjust the second floor because I thought it wasn't supposed to look crooked...but overall I REALLY enjoyed this. It was really fun and definitely worth the money. Happy Halloween golden ninja!
