I live in America and back in the early 70s my sister lived in Japan for 4 years. Her husband was stationed there while in the Air Force. She brought back some very beautiful things for me and my mom as gifts. I loved to hear her explain what the historical homes and gardens were like. When I got older I would go to the library and get books on gardens of Japan but it wasn't until TH-cam that I could really see and experience the beauty of a Japanese garden. Everytime I watch videos of historical Japanese gardens it moves me emotionally. Your videos on this garden and how each piece and part have meaning and are thoughtfully put together, shows that a Historical Japanese Garden is not just a garden but a work of art. They have meaning and are created to move you emotionally. I have loved every video and I look forward to more inspiration of the beautiful gardens of Japan that you have planned for us. God bless you and God bless the craftsmen and the craftsmanship that went into this absolutely beautiful garden.

These craftsmen gardeners in Japan are among the best on our planet.
The recording/videography is so patient and unobtrusive, so it is remarkable to be very close and see their hands and feet at work.
A work of art and inspiration on many levels for me.
The wall, thatched roof, curved Bamboo fence, water basins, planting, the many details on the ground and in the pruning.
This project is an encyclopaedia of Japanese garden craft.
I say this as a professional gardener working full-time in Japan for 5 years, and I worked in these same conditions.
Truely remarkable to see this recorded to this depth. I remember most the silence - the tools at work have special sounds and it you are doing it well the right sound is heard.
I'm going to miss this garden. Have loved every episode, the workmanship the design, the filming. Thank you to everyone

I have been to Japan only twice and I can say that Japanese gardens are the most beautiful. So many great features in a small space is what is so impressive about the work you have done.

lolz--you know they have to have a service to maintain this! They redid the entire house surround and have no garden shed to store maintenance tools. My question is how long until the leaf litter makes soild in the rocks and how would one maintain that?
He, who created this garden, wants to maintain it! We think it would be best if he did!
@@JapaneseGardenTV Fair enough. I've got rocks and the hardest problem is keeping the leaf litter and seeds that fall in out. they weigh the same as the rocks, so leaf blower does not work...(!)

The materials that are used are so in harmony with the shape, lines, and environment! And you can get an answer to the question of how much time it took to create the last garden project.
