Love demo for the radio, make it very tempting to buy
Great tutorial, Thank you!
They are great! I believe I have around 5 of them.
Great review💪😉✅️
Solid review! I'm wondering if you know if I can plug an NIMH battery into this transmitter instead of a lipo? I have a few of them lying around from a WPL that's doesn't seem much use anymore
Hi, you can, but you have to keep an eye on the voltage yourself as the meter inside the remote is set to lipo.
GREAT CHANNEL HERE SUBSCRIBED
Thanks!
Thx for review and showing the difference of the channel modes.
Do you think the batterie compartment can take a tray of 2x 18650?
No, just checked. To long and to thick
@@hofsplace Thx!
Please correct me if I'm wrong, which is often. You seem to have not included how to bind a receiver with the DDF-350 ?
Turn on the receiver, press the bind button it flashes, then turn on the transmitter, It should automatically bind, steer a couple times to test
Hello, nice video, but need help. How to set Gnob 5 (or 6) as EPA for channel 2 - throttle limits?
That is not possible
Hi!
Excellent review 👏
On the DDF350, in the case os my trx4, which channels do you recommend connecting 1st/2nd speed and the both locks to?
I bought the 10 channels receiver
I use: CH3 front diff, CH4 rear diff, CH8 2-speed
@@hofsplace thanks a lot for your help👌😁💪
Very cool transmitter indeed. May I ask how does it compare regarding size and weight to Radiolink RC4GS?. Thanks
Hi, the DumboRC DDF-350 is much less chunky than the radiolink and has a slimmer overall desing. Weight could be influenced by using different power sources, AA, lipo, small lipo etc
@@hofsplace thank you. I am looking for a transmitter for our 6 year old and the Radiolink is just too large for her.
@@matusknivesperhaps the Flysky FS-MG7 is than a better choice:

Is there a way to map an external channel dial for steering trim. That’s the only thing I’m not sure on, I’d want an external way to trim. Thanks
You can use the scroll button to quickly adjust the steering trim
@@hofsplaceok. I got one on the way to give it a try. Thanks for the reply.
Hi great vid, can you put end points on channel 3 for example for a two speed gearbox.
Thank you 😊, yes, that's possible
Yes you can. I use it for a TRX-4
I have a query - can we have the buttons do a progressing movement like - 0 15 30 45 90 degree on each click of a button
Hi, no, not inside the TX. To do so, you'll have to find a printboard fo in the RX that response in that particular way
Nice vídeo, can you help me about this remote? I want to know about some functions and how to do
Hi, probably
I was considering getting the Flysky gt5 until I saw your video, does the dumborc do firmware updates?
Yes it does. If had the Flysky as well, i prefer the DumboRC
Hi,
thanks for the wonderful presentation of the DDF-350.
After seeing the video I ordered it with the X10F receiver.
I do have a question about this. The receiver has a B+B- connection and a cable is also included. What are these for and how do I connect them?
Thank you.
Hi, it's supposed to be for connecting the battery to it so you can read the voltage on the transmitter. I haven't tried it as I didn't find the manual to be sure and to see how man 'S' it can handle
Oké. Thanks. Keep up the good work. 👍
Hello, great report. I also ordered it and had a curious problem after I did Calibration Steering under "Transmitter Settings 5/5". Now my steering turns 100% to the left only and I can't change it anymore. Even factory reset did not reset it.
Do you have any idea?
Hi, that's a good one. I know in the x6 you have a secret menu to set the end-points, like a calibration menu. Doesn't this have thas well? Never tried myself.
And is the servo hoorn properly mounted?
Wow great demonstration! My question is have you used the voltage return function to view the battery voltage on the receiver? I believe it's the B+ and B- on the receiver that connects to the batt via a cable or something to supply voltage info. I'm trying to find information on how it works but it's hard and you seem to have the most knowledge.
I have the same thoughts and the same problem. Can't find any information, but I assume it is the B+ & B- for battery information
T see ur car battery, connect the lipo to the b+ and b- on the receiver..
Yes you can. There's a dedicated port on the receiver and as soon as you plug your battery voltage in there it appears on the screen of the radio. Very neat. Just to be clear when you plug your battery into the dedicated port on receiver the other channels ( servo etc.) will still get 6V from the esc.
excellent video, quick question what is the model number of the lipo your using? thanks man!!!
This is a different one, but will fit when the AA holder is removed:

Are any of the 3 position switches momentary? I’ve found that slider switches aren’t great for winch control but momentary button switches work well
Hi, no it's a locking 3 position.
But if you're handy, you can install it yourself.
Or use the winch mix option in the menu, then you can dedicate 2 momentary buttons for the winch controll
@@hofsplace it’s a bit frustrating the budget transmitter companies haven’t included momentary functions on their transmitters yet
@@jonthomas8487 momentary means it is auto resetting. So it will not be locked/unlocked.
With the build in software you can dedicate it to function as a locking or inching knop.
Somehow my steering is stuck at 100% left! How do you do a factory reset? I tried several times and it won't work.
Hi, did you try: Transmitter settings/ page 5, calibration, steering?
Hi guys,
My receivers don't seem to match a certain gyro I want to use on my drift RC car.
Maybe you'd know of a different receiver I could use to match the PWM frequency of my high end gyro (333hz).
I'm using a x6fg receiver and even after trying multiple ones it still doesn't steer even if the gyro itself can move the servo just fine.
I haven't yet tried a x6dc, x6yc or x10fg.
If you can find a solution to my problem I'd be greatly grateful.
Cheers
Hi, ai, difficult one. I've got the X6F and X10FG. Mine 6 doesn't have a gyro, the then 10 does, but haven't tried it as it's in mine BRX02. If I've got spare time, I'll look into it
do you know if the new ddf-350 will work with the "older" dumborc recievers X6F(G)?
Yes, they work!
Can you fine tune the gyro or is it only the gain that can be adjusted?
@@salutbonjour123hi, you shoult be able to, but I didn't tested it yet
Solid review, which reciever would you recommend?
Depends on your needs.
I use 6ch with lights or the 10ch one
Contemplating getting rid of my dx5c and my Dx5 rugged an switching to this one? Is it a good or dumbo Idea😅
Haha, I think you should switch! I didn't expected it to be this good. It now my favourite to go with
Hello, do you know if the type C connector is used to charge the battery? thank you
Not sure about that. Would recommend to charhe it separately
@@hofsplace Hi, I just checked that the transmitter does not send voltage to the battery door so you have to charge either lipo or batteries outside the transmitter. Best regards
@@MrGallotole super, 👍🏻
This dumborc or the flysky nb4 for best performance?
The DumboRC is my new favourite
Is deze zender ook geschikt voor 1/28 drift auto’s ?
Ik zie niet in waarom dat niet zou werken.
Hai. Can x6f receiver use on this ddf 350 ?
Yes you can. Previous receivers will work with the DDF-350
thanks
@@hofsplace
Wish these conteollers came from factory with 18650s quick swap and usb rechargeable
Well, I'm happy you'll have to options for a lipo. Better that than always the AA's
how does it compare to the flysky gt5 or g7p
I like this better
A great Review and a nice Tutorial my Friend!!!
Is one of the radio i'm looking for and your video is a good Help 💪🏻🏆👍🏻!
Thks my Friend for the share!
💪🏻🐼🐻❄️👍🏻
P.S. did you received my email that i send some time ago?
Thanks, yes i did. Before I enter, I like to extend my course.
Ah ok ok! I understand! Looking forward to a very nice event from you my Friend!!! Cheers!!!
a standard DUMBORC radio has 5 dials for trim and gyro, this only has 2,
How can this replace a radio with more than 2 turn-dials?
Everything is set inside the menu and is very easy due to the display
@@hofsplace understood, thanks
Radiolink rc6gs v3 VS dumborc ddf 350. what's the best one. please help
For me, definitely the DumboRC
That is a question with MOST obvious answer.
compare it to radiomaster mt12
If you sent me one 😉, haha, currently I haven't one. For now, my focus is more RC cars than accessories.
@@hofsplace i just got mine from the mail a few hours ago, haven't opened it yet since im at work now 😔
And... it sucks. It will not allow mixing of any channels tied to throttle ch2 or steering ch1. What's the point of all the switches if I can't mix 4ws or dual throttle motors???? True DUMBO fashion, literally. Or maybe I'm just the dumbo and couldn't figure it out. 😂
Did you do the firmware update?
Lol no! There ya go I AM the Dumbo! Too bad too I really liked the radio otherwise but already returned it and kept the RC6GS which isn't great either but at least can mix throttle and steerings with other channels and a switch out the box. I didn't know it needed firmware that is dumbo 😝
@@hofsplacedoes the firmware for sure give ability to mix ch3-12 with channels 1 and 2 and different switches?
@@return_to_agartha can't say for sure, but it's worth a shot
My digital SRT ch6012 servo moves in steps and not smoth is there a timing Option in this transmitter?
