How to merge two columns with a delimiter?
Couple of questions here.
1. Does changes made in Tableau reflect in Source data in live and extract mode?
2. When refresh the data how split column works. Does it give split results even after deleting the main column?
3. After the all the changes when refresh the data, does all changes take effect to new data automatically?
Pavankumr Alle 1. Source data shouldn’t be modified coz tableau is used only for reporting and reading purpose.

Does editing data in tableau live also affect linked excel?? Will i see changes in original excel sheet ?
I don't think so, when you rename the column, this new name is just for Tableau, this change will not affect your Excel, Database, etc.
