I’m so glad you showed us this ne. I just know my Okuma Avenger bait-feeders so learning about this one is a treat! I use my Okuma for surf fishing and they work very well particularly using larger baits on a fish-finder rig. When I see sand I use my air compressor particularly if the sand in internal. It is not a substitute for flushing parts with water though. Dennis, I’ve got one of my smaller center drag reels that has a problem with the AR clutch. It seems to be related to the override not allowing the clutch to activate. Taking it apart is always a challenge. I’ve seen other Penn bait-feeders that scared me. This one does not. This was an outstanding video. I like this reel. - Chris PS. I sent you photos tonight of my completed set of vintage black/gold Daiwa BG reels. Every one of them works perfectly. I can’t wait to use them!
Beautiful reel. What size would you recommend for blues and flatheads? The trophies are on the menu on east tn waters (50 +). And for the Fierce vs. the battle? Thank you sir>????bill
The 6000 size is good. I see little difference between the latest Fierce IV and Battle IV reels. The main difference is that the Battler has CNC cut gears for greater precision. Both reels are metal cased, have the HT-100 drags and similar bearing setups (the battle has one more). If you want to consider the 8000 size for deeper drop fishing, or trolling, that may be the better choice. It's drawback is that it is bigger and heavier
Nice I like that one
Me to!

Thanks for watching, Chris, and for sharing - The Okuma is a great reel, especially for the price. Quite a value
That Reel look like the perfect pier and Surf Casting Reel
Yes it is, but it is better at drift fishing chucks of bait - perfect for Catfish too!

That is a sweet reel Dennis. I shared this video with my brother. He has the 8000 and the 6000.
You folks have a wonderful weekend my friend.
Thanks for the note and I hope you have a great weekend too!
@ it is my pleasure my friend. We will give it our best. We are going to watch my Grandsons pine wood derby races here in a few hours.
That's a lot of reel.
It sure is, but check out the Spinfisher VI 8000 if you want to see a beast!
