    The instructions with this belts are totally useless! Thanks for the video! Quick question I didn't see anyone else ask, they said to put these on while laying down flat on a bed but I see you putting them on as I had been standing up (even though I was putting them on wrong ooopsss) so I wondered about that.

    • @LiveCoreStrong
      @LiveCoreStrong  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, at the beginning stages if you are weak and fatigued after childbirth you can do it lying down but you’ll find it’s quicker and easier to put on standing as your body starts to recover. So both ways are fine to do. Let me know if you have any more questions!

    I've used several postpartum bands after each of my 5 pregnancies and this one I'm reusing. I had to reorder it cause I can't find the one I had but this time it did come with better instructions, it listed all the steps you gave but it suggests laying on your back when putting them on the first week or 2, may need to do it longer laying down after c section depending on your pain tolerance and muscle tone and then after that put it on standing while holding in the core muscles. My question is do you think laying on your back to put it on is a good or bad idea? I'm using this to hopefully help with diastasis recti that I've had since my 3rd and since I'm only 2 weeks postpartum I figure I'll see better improvement since I'm still healing rather than waiting months or years. I've learned proper exercises for lifting the pelvic floor and pulling in core muscles but I'm hoping the belts will help hold my muscles in the right place until I'm ready to start those exercises and I don't want to put it on laying down if that's going to hold everything in the wrong position.

    • @LiveCoreStrong
      @LiveCoreStrong  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not going to make a big difference putting it on standing up vs. lying down. I like standing up so I can feel exactly where it’s going in standing since I will be wearing it standing for the rest of the day. I have a better feel for placement and I can do it standing in front of a mirror.

    I read on webmd that when wrapping you should wrap from the bottom up so you don't cause any downward compression but I notice you put the lowest bands on last. Is it because the band's are so wide that shouldn't be a problem? Also I've read reviews on this band in particular on Amazon and it caused quite a few women to have prolapsed a bladder or uterus. Could it be how tightly or how long they wore it for that caused that?

    • @LiveCoreStrong
      @LiveCoreStrong  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is absolutely a great point to bring up. If you are experiencing pain that resembles the onset of prolapse, it is recommend to stop wearing it right away and call your doctor. That is always a possibility with compression in general, not just this wrap alone. Great topic to discuss here.
