30:40 Also don't build pyramids for elevated, suspended Atlases. One Freeze on top with arches extending Darts with an open gap all around. This gives Flingers only a 1×1 target that gets blasted by Darts instead of a 3×3 landing zone. That's one-ninth the target size!
The problem is that while I build the high Drops, some clown might put Freezes below or other ceiling if I put Launchers first. Stage one thinkers, SMH.
I have switched the sniper defenderse with AR defender with Brightcore pulse pounder with Freeze Perl, my prime anti air MK2 AND good for defense line since they bypass riot shields AND shielders.
if something is ever extremely outdated, ill update the title or thumbnail of the video, but those old videos are still pretty good, its just my mic quality is dookie in them lol
Another feature of player pads (jump/directional) is that they completely negate any fall damage after you use them! when you aren't a ninja, you can use a jump pad and jump off a 10 story building and not take any damage. i've only used it for this purpose twice though

45:00 Caging Neon snipers with the pyramid roof (takes a little patience) gives them the stationary 55% bonus. Blastotrons are good for AoE defense. Do defenders get headshots from above while not at level line-of-sight? This would affect perk selection.
27:30 Broadsides can do high cumulative damage firing into approaching waves. They don't necessarily have to bounce. In a different mode like real cannons with grapeshot. Sometimes the entire wave doesn't have an opposing wall. I do use a field of staggered opposing walls with Broads on the back and Sound on the front. Two tiles between walls with one tile offset between columns that they meander through with Spikes and AAs on the floor.
Say you have a row of wall launchers or floor launchers, where in the row do you have the fastest reload considering the durability? It’s probably not a problem if you have max trap durability in normal missions, but in ventures they can run out quickly. What are your thoughts?

1. you can place stairs then the celing and use the celling trap.... the trap hit targets under the stairs..... 2. the tar pit isnt that good becasue when a player shoots at the traps the slow will go away and the pits does some fire dmg. 3. floor frezze traps have an impact number of zero ( 0) so using a perks which gives it more impact is usless only when you dont use this traps in combos. because of this the 3 Star traps is as strong as the 4 and 5 star trap.

Epic really needs to buff the flame grill trap, maybe slightly nerf the tire drop, a whole rebalance to freshen things up would be nice. Maybe a new trap would be cool too 😬
Correct me If I'm wrong... IIRC the description of the flame grill says it inflicts fire affliction damage, but I believe this is not the case. I think it might actually be somewhat usable at the beginning of trap tunnels if it actually did apply affliction...
The infinite jump pad thing is better if you build them in a row outside the Twine peaks map because there is more space where the usual death barrier can’t stop you from building.

41:35 Anyone compare the Level 10 Boost pads (found as loot) to the Level 1 pads (crafted)? I save all Level 10 looted pads for SSDs, maybe, where they won't get consumed. Have 155 so far. Might only be as trophies.
The other big difference between campfires and healing pads is the campfire is always spending uses, even when no one is being healed by it. If you place them early in a defense build, they will expire, whereas the healing pad stays until used up by actual use.
if they got changed in a past update they give you a free reset on the item if you dont want it anymore. back early last year they buffed a lot of heroes
does the "heals attached..." trap perk not stack with other traps or not stack with the power base constructor perk? or both? my friends and i are disagreeing with each other and i'd like clarification.
it doesnt stack with other traps that have the same perk. so like, you cant put a trap on each wall with the same perk, it'll only use one of the traps perks

I still prefer campfire tbh, just place 2 of them, and it heals up defenders, teammates and me :)
