Being an STW fan since 2018, it feels weird seeing how this mode most people considered "dead" back then sometimes get more players than Rocket Racing or Festival

I believe the "Blu-glo crisis" is referring to the line in the mission Refuel Homebase where Ray says "Between you and me, Homebase is running out of fuel."
I remember reading somewhere that there’s a voice line where ray says that all blu-glo will be depleted by the year 2020 or something like that, obviously that voice line is old and is probably tied to an event or campaign

Love save the world. Being a founder means I get VBucks and cosmetics. The Voice acting is actually top tier, the gameplay is fun (especially when you are just shooting the shit with friends) and the unique guns and characters have the og feel or early fortnite
as a first generation founder, there is so much more than is presented here. things like shielders originally looking hilarious, nature husks being purple and every location being nothing but illusionary replicas of the storm. also, the Castle Carlsbad incident; it had a pretty funny misspelling for two years straight, which was “Castle Carslbad” in the quest description- locations and landmarks used to have names. there were also a lot more scrapped enemies, like a trash can throwing husky and a few others. there is so much more you can dive into.

I would like to say that I planned that, but it was a complete coincidence! I started writing the script on July 26th and began editing around August 1st.
Majority of my vbucks are from save the world. I'm at 119k. I've platinum the game. Got every quest done every side quest, got every schematic legendary roles and 130 maxed out and have every hero in the game too. Not flexing or anything but ive literally finished EVERYTHING in the game. I love save the world but epic does not.
As per your last sentence, I agree. There's such a loyal fanbase in StW, and every time we get a small questline (just like recently), the players get all excited. Sadly, they want to maximize on other experiences and UEFN since that's where the money is.

I think the demonic scream in layer 5 is referring to one of the original stw trailers when it was intended to be more of a horror game, theres a part in that trailer where the husks eyes go red and it screams

I love all the dialogue you get in the story mode and the venture quest that get rotated out. I adore Ray, they somehow made a little robot that you never really personally see extremely likeable and relatable. It's definitely a hidden gem

In 2023 we got Survive The Horde, the new current horde mode during the Scurvy Shoals ventures season, codenamed Horde V3. Although the description says it, Weapon Vouchers do not allow you to voucher mythic weapons, as there are only 5 which can be earned from the Mythic Storm King alone. Out of the Dragon weapon set, only the Dragon's Roar has built-in Affliction damage, it is a strange but useful feature of that weapon alone. Field Agent Rio giving a galaxy like effect after phase-shifting isn't actually a glitch, and is intended to be applied to your weapon. I hope you continue to enjoy STW!

Outlandish oddities, the most recent questline from C5S3, also referes to "Rapid Blu Glo decay rates" Basically, the very thing that makes surviving the storm possible, and that most of Homebase runs of, is rapidly running out. Surprising that it seems to be a narative throughline thought the Ventures quests to Present, like Dennis and Sarah.
Save the world originally had a "horror game" vision to it. There were sketches of some of the mist monsters that were honestly horrific that could actually scare you. This was also why the takers are also called soul suckers as they would latch on to you with the old designs
I truly appreciate this kind of content. Especially since I finally beat Save the World this year after slowly but steadily playing it since early access. Even after finally "beating" Fortnite. Very few of my friends cared about the great story and characters that Save the World offers. As such, it's nice to see players like yourself explaining and acknowledging what Save the World has to offer. (Even if this is supposed to be an iceberg video, lol.)
I did receive my Storm King Pin, however it took months to arrive. I believe I received it mid-summer, and the event (which required you to speed run the Canny Valley storyline in roughly two weeks.) as you mentioned ran during the winter of the previous year.
Very interesting video! I am a HUGE Stw fan, I play this game everyday. I assist lower level people in missions and I help higher levels defeat the storm king and do storm shield defenses. I also run missions on my own and do various loadouts.. I must say, I have learned a few key things from this video. Never noticed the husk hyroglifics before.. or at least never paid much mind to them.. Everything else in this video was really interesting... A short one though , would love some more STW videos !
I enjoy this game so much, more than battle royale. Gives you an objective and you are always rewarded very well with missions. I’m towards the end of canny valley rn and I can’t stop playing the venture quests as well. So much heroes and schematics to choose from
Hard to believe 10 years ago I watched Fortnite first being shown to the public at E3 2013...and STW still has some of the same textures from then in the game now.
I hope more stw starter packs come to the shop, I have Lok and Vinderbot and honestly I don't see why some older ones can't be added for stw fans because the packs are pretty pricey. They had metal team leader in the shop recently I believe too.
The bluglo crisis was mentioned in one of the events that are only doable in Ventures, but i don't remember which. I remember director Riggs saying it. Its mentioned that bluglo is decaying, losing all power to the resource itself and becoming useless.
There are so many missing entries that OG StW players know about, also a lot of information is missing or you just didn't bother to elaborate on, like: - the 2 mythic survivors are based on real employees that worked on StW but unfortunately have passed away and as a thanks, they are the only mythic survivors, whilst mythic leads have been made as easter eggs - The mythic weapons aren't just "unique" looking, they are completely obsolete and outclass each category by a miles, each of the 5 weapons have their own and unique ability that no other gun has ever had and those abilities also make these guns the best - In the entry where you show husks drawn in a cave by cavemen, the design of the blaster is the actually the OLD one, where the blaster was a character standing on 2 legs that was extremely purple and odd-looking, but you used a picture of the new design - The entry of the old blaster design is missing, and any OG would still remember it - The Storm King's Pin was only obtainable in a 2 month period, after you had to complete a 12-13 page each containing over 5 missions, that could NOT be completed in a single match. Back then the game used to spawn only x4 of your mission's item you had to find, so if there was a mission "Collect 7x of this" you had to play 2 games to finish that 1 mission. - Also the original founder's packs weren't mentioned and what kind of disaster that was, you could not upgrade your version so if you bought a version that was in the middle-class, if you wanted to get the Founder's edition you'd need to pay full price, and many other different things could have been said about this that I cant think of at this moment - 6-Star materials, you only mentioned the existence of Spectrolite and Honey, even though the 6-star materials exist for every class, there are also rainbow crystals, mechanical parts, mineral parts, twine and moonglow crystal As an OG myself I appreciate you talking about StW and bringing light onto this amazing game mode (even though it's been abandoned for BR), it's not perfect but you did good research

Like other six star materials, this was obtained during early version of the game or when epic accidentally wiped people's inventory. Spectrolite aswell as moonglow and rainbow crystal are thought to be crafted alongside vindertech mechanical parts, spectral twine, and spectral mineral powder, to make a six star schematic
20:15 In Lego Fortnite if you pet a Llama, it explodes giving you materials and special food consumables. But when you hit a Llama it will start to run away from you before it disintegrates in a burst of light. In LegoFN they are alive (to an extent).

Yup, two quests: "The Bones Collector" and "Concept Art." I found out AFTER I uploaded the video. In my gameplay, I was completing quests "V" and "See You Later," which are the three quests that come BEFORE "The Bones Collector." The Founder's Emote could refer to 3 things. (to my knowledge) The emote we got, Ride the Pony from Season 2 - Which was granted to Founder's after stw was "complete" The Storm Salutation emote - Would make sense since stw is about fighting the storm and the Dark Souls reference is nice. Good Guy - I've seen a few things from stw leaking/archive accounts on twitter. It could be wrong, but it's "speculated" that could've been the emote founder's got. (This one I'm not too sure on, I've just seen it float around on twitter a couple times)
I'm so sad that they didn't continue with STW but instead they are going with lego and made fortnite a corporate hub of dissapointment. But at least STW still uses the old lobby design and old graphics. The main Story isn't complete at all epic. It should be so if you beat STW you get a cutscene where the world is healed and everyone is rebuilding the world again and is happy, but that wouldn't be the end of STW because you would help the population with rebuilding the world because you are the hero that saved this world and everyone trusts and loves you. All i have to say STW is the real Fortnite "the Main mode"
Love getting Vbucks from the challenges, I feel as if save the world was a lot of what I wanted to see in PvZ Garden warfare story mode, but knew it wouldn’t ever happen. It’s overwhelming at first but everytime time I come back to it I’m used to it pretty quick
idk about you but I've always liked the more cobbled together "this is what we have" kinda future technology more than the sleek modern version Fortnite is more or less about now. I wasn't around for those days but man I wish I was. But having some mysterious third-party have the sleek tech look goes really well in comparison

I played since before Battle Royal and have a lot of the OG weapons before the reperk system was added. So much of the game has changed even in the past couple years.

I only play save the world now. Stopped playing br about 2 years ago. It got old. Save the world is a laid back mode and a great way to just kill time and relax. I play late at night to wind down.
STW is my favourite game ever, i originally bought it for the free vbucks but loved it so mich i saved up and got the ultimate pack. I go back every now and again and play it. Its sad that theres very little content get added. We recently got 2 new heros and some building updates 😢which is nothing compared to what it deserves.
The best part of the original STW was you could customize your skills more. Focusing on how you wanted to progress. If you have ever heard of GURPS, or played the original Star Wars: Galaxies, before they borked the entire character progression system, it was very similar.

Back then the game used to spawn only x4 of your mission's item you had to find, so if there was a mission "Collect 7x of this" you had to play 2 games to finish that 1 mission.
- Also the original founder's packs weren't mentioned and what kind of disaster that was, you could not upgrade your version so if you bought a version that was in the middle-class, if you wanted to get the Founder's edition you'd need to pay full price, and many other different things could have been said about this that I cant think of at this moment
- 6-Star materials, you only mentioned the existence of Spectrolite and Honey, even though the 6-star materials exist for every class, there are also rainbow crystals, mechanical parts, mineral parts, twine and moonglow crystal
As an OG myself I appreciate you talking about StW and bringing light onto this amazing game mode (even though it's been abandoned for BR), it's not perfect but you did good research

13:48 similar to moonglow and rainbow crystal, spectrolite is another six star material. Spectrolite was the ore that was supposed to come after brightcore. Like other six star materials, this was obtained during early version of the game or when epic accidentally wiped people's inventory. Spectrolite aswell as moonglow and rainbow crystal are thought to be crafted alongside vindertech mechanical parts, spectral twine, and spectral mineral powder, to make a six star schematic

Yup, two quests: "The Bones Collector" and "Concept Art." I found out AFTER I uploaded the video. In my gameplay, I was completing quests "V" and "See You Later," which are the three quests that come BEFORE "The Bones Collector." It's unfortunate because I couldn't find information about it even though it was a quest, but what can I do.🤷♂️

The Founder's Emote could refer to 3 things. (to my knowledge)
The emote we got, Ride the Pony from Season 2 - Which was granted to Founder's after stw was "complete"
The Storm Salutation emote - Would make sense since stw is about fighting the storm and the Dark Souls reference is nice.
Good Guy - I've seen a few things from stw leaking/archive accounts on twitter. It could be wrong, but it's "speculated" that could've been the emote founder's got. (This one I'm not too sure on, I've just seen it float around on twitter a couple times)
Honestly lets just all grind stw and litterally force epic games to countinue this game
I'm so sad that they didn't continue with STW but instead they are going with lego and made fortnite a corporate hub of dissapointment. But at least STW still uses the old lobby design and old graphics. The main Story isn't complete at all epic. It should be so if you beat STW you get a cutscene where the world is healed and everyone is rebuilding the world again and is happy, but that wouldn't be the end of STW because you would help the population with rebuilding the world because you are the hero that saved this world and everyone trusts and loves you. All i have to say STW is the real Fortnite "the Main mode"

Love getting Vbucks from the challenges, I feel as if save the world was a lot of what I wanted to see in PvZ Garden warfare story mode, but knew it wouldn’t ever happen. It’s overwhelming at first but everytime time I come back to it I’m used to it pretty quick

Save the world is great. I Wish they would extend the end of the campaign to some how tie into the current version/chapter of fortnite
idk about you but I've always liked the more cobbled together "this is what we have" kinda future technology more than the sleek modern version Fortnite is more or less about now. I wasn't around for those days but man I wish I was. But having some mysterious third-party have the sleek tech look goes really well in comparison

16:15 i think the reason for this is because they accidentally added a battle royale coconut consumable, but because there is no stw version, and direct consumption was never implemented, it glitches you in a state between picking it up and doing the consumption animation

I only play save the world now. Stopped playing br about 2 years ago. It got old. Save the world is a laid back mode and a great way to just kill time and relax. I play late at night to wind down.

STW is my favourite game ever, i originally bought it for the free vbucks but loved it so mich i saved up and got the ultimate pack. I go back every now and again and play it. Its sad that theres very little content get added. We recently got 2 new heros and some building updates 😢which is nothing compared to what it deserves.
