MAYBE I can share a tip with you. A plastic Flea comb from the pet store! They are like $2 and fit in a credit card slot in your wallet. You never lose your comb! And they have the finest teeth.

When you ask almost any barber in the nEtherlands for a low cut fade, or even say very low cut fade they still manage to make it as a mid/ high fade.... 😒
Same in my barber in London, a low fade is a mid fade here
I have to very specifically explain i want the upper sides cut with scissors and NOT buzzed like an undercut
I know, it is not like that only in Netherlands. No fucking barber I went to can do low fade. You can show them the best picture and give them your best explaination, yet, you will still leave with mid or high cut. They all cut same 🤦🏻♂️
So frustrating.
If I didnt have my own job I love, I would become barber who can do the best lowcuts.

I always get confused. Do you go from open lever to closed fully, or do you go through each notch until closed fully?
Hey and it depends on you. If you are a beginner you can start open and closed the lever little by little, but if you are more advanced then you can open them closed lever.
Nice content sir! But i think if i would be the customer. I would request a shorter top and blend with mid fade. I have also that kind of high hair line. The bangs in the parietal ridge is building some space because its a little bit long. Thats why i always request a shorter top with my kind of hairline. Thats just my opinion. And i know thats the client's request :) anyway still a great job sir david! Im a fan of your works :)

Great video! Wouldn’t a low skin fade mean using the shaver to get down to the skin? I get the same haircut and prefer this look. Would this be a low fade with a half (0.5) size?
Thank you and a skin fade is a fade that gets down to the shaver, a low fade is the type of fade. This is a skin low fade since I did shaved the bottom

This very slow process too much steps especially when trimming the top, can you do another video faster process even if it's not perfect coz client wouldn't recognise the little mistakes. Thank you for your effort

Question for new clippers. I cut my own hair and wanted to upgrade from wahl legends and go cordless. Which would you recommend the wahl senior ($127.50) or magic clip metal edition ($119.99). Both are similar priced so unsure which is better for how I cut my hair. The cut I keep is a drop fade with a 5 on top.

this is very important to listen to the clients here in UK nobody listen you thats why I stop going to the barbershop and I am doing my hair on my own because every time i go and I tell them dont touch my beard they always touch it then asking me If i am happy 😀 wtf
Are they blending the beard into the fade at the sides ? If that’s the case most barbers will do that if you just say leave the beard, because a haircut isn’t finished if the beard doesn’t blend into the sides. If you don’t want it touched at all, just ask them not to blend the beard into the sides at all
