Been watching for a long time, I really appreciate how this game has turned into a far more strategic kind of game than a 6 (now 5) per team epilepsy simulator. Your past coaching videos have all contributed to making better decisions when we play. Keep it up :))
In my opinion, you're a coaching god for OW. Always look forward learning something new. Even for heroes I don't play.
Would definitely hire you if I would have time and be serious about climbing. But my priorities are somewhere else.
I've watched your video coaching Metro (Soldier). And I also watched Awkwrd coaching SVB (Ana). Let me tell you, all the stuff you've been talking about Ana, Awkward does exactly the opposite. I'm with you here. When I'm playing support, I do prioritize my team mates and do my CD management to the best of my abilities.
Awkward's aggressive playstyle helps more when climbing from low ranks. Afterall, that's what his video is about, unranked to gm. It also helps you practice mechanical skills and positioning since you're always looking for safe angles, aiming, shooting, and using cool downs.
I was thinking the same! A10 says, "hold onto your cooldowns until you can secure a kill or force them out of the space". Awkward says, "You have a cooldown? Give it a crack and try to get someone with it."
I agree with the comment above me here, that Awkward's method probably works amazing up to Masters, but above that and you need to start thinking more and more like A10.
@@matthewrayner571 with the nade I'm a little bit more liberal, but I'm holding on to my sleep dart as Ana. Mostly to punish the use of their cooldown. Rein charge, Bob, nearly any other ult, cocky Tracers/Genjis/Sombras. Too often did the sleep dart at the right time turned the fight in my experience. What good does it do if I sleep someone across the map with no plausible follow-up, but then don't have it for Doom's block, Rein pin or Bob?

Wish I watched this sooner, sometimes I hit good anti nades but no one to take value and I felt disappointed. Now I look back, probably my team was falling back or trying to regrp. I was indirectly telling them to engage. So many nuggets, also the tip on type of player and tank, if they are aggressive, no point long rotation, better to be in sight line to supp them and make plays. Reading the big picture about team and enemy position is key take away for me. Thanks bro.

Currently a M5 support (M3 Peak - Ana Main) new to gaming on mouse and key and OW2. started playing support a little in season 2 (originally started S1 as DPS and on controller but then switched to MnK in season 2) and started to main support in season 3 to current.

While I am a consistent Top 150-350 player, I have not improved much and am pretty hardstuck once I get around rank 150. As a rank 1 player yourself, you know just how large the skill gap between top 50 games and top 300 games really are. I want to be a rank 1 caliber player but don’t know where to go from here, and I think you could offer a lot of wisdom on how to attain that goal. I think coaching a top 500 player in a role that is not your main (I’m a flex support) could offer great knowledge as well as content to your audience, and any players aspiring to be the best.

Flutter#3697 Genuinley on tracer I feel very hot or cold if that makes any sense. I struggle with consistency and knowing what I should be doing with the team comp I have or otherwise. I struggle to find the right play to make or what I should be doing as tracer. I have been able to get to diamond but I want to get good enough to where I can hit masters next season. Watching your videos has made me improve from silver to diamond and I just want to improve.

I wonder if in the sojourn 1st point example, a sleep dart is better because you eliminate the threat can heal then nade before or as she wakes up. Awkward talks about Anas holding sleep too often and I think this is a good example. People underestimate how versatile the sleep dart is.
Dragoness#6561 A10, your videos have helped me so, so much. I would love to be considered for a coaching session as I have been really struggling with comp for some time now. I used to hover around gold but just dramatically fell all the way to bronze. I did not understand why, what was expected of me, or how the game was judging me, and this confusion just lead me to make bad decisions over and over.
It wasn't until I discovered your videos that I realised I DID KNOW the fundamentals, having learn them from previous FPS games, but I'd had that knowledge completely erroded by the OW ranking system. So now I feel like I am starting again, relearning a game I am very familiar with and trying to climb, but progress isn't as fast as I'd like it to be. Echo/Repaer are my main heroes that I care about the most, but I also really enjoy support as Ana, Moira, or Zen.

Watched you for a long time- mid-masters flex player on all roles, tracer main overall though. Used your tracer vods on your channel to fix a lot of my mistakes at an entry level of collegiate ow! Would love to prep for tryouts next sem with a coaching session 🔥🔥
Roadhogs hook is one of the hardest skills to master... you have to predict speed trajectory momentum and velocity aswell as healing yourself and tanking... roadhog has the heigest skill ceiling in the game

I even peaked at masters 1 with a string of luck, but I got knocked back down to mid diamond and have been trying for months to climb back up. I feel that I am good at the game, and I have difficulty pointing out the issues in my gameplay, so coaching would be awesome! Thank you for the great content A10, you are a really good teacher.
junkrat is one of the hardest heroes to master.... you have to fire projectiles with an elevated trajectory and slower velocity as well as not being able to oneshot unlike hanzo.... junkrat has the highest skill ceiling of the game

Skill ceiling, agreed, but no way higher than Tracer, who's unarguably the hardest hero to master in the game. But junkrat also has one of the lowest skill-floors, maybe only behind Moira or Mei. Also Junkrat has a one-shot combo, I think not being able to one shot like Hanzo in a single input is pretty irrelevant since he's the only hero in the entire game that can actually one shot at any range (even widow has fall-off). Comparing any of the 35+ heroes to 1 unique hero is kinda pointless in my opinion
@@J.R.Swish1 i disagree you can always hit more shots on junkrat therefore you have infinite skill ceiling.... you wouldnt get it....

It’s my first season of overwatch but I’ve spent an awful lot of time learning. I’m currently Plat3 on DPS and Diamond5 on Supp. I also play on 170ms ping because I’m from South Africa. Before overwatch I mainly played Call of duty since 2004 haha
