I didnt turn traction control off, my reaction time was slow and the car need a pedal commander because the throttle does not react right away. I will be adding a Whipple supercharger and other bolt ons over the winter months and bring you all with me through the entire journey because this is my passion.
That AMGS is no joke. The 4Matic is a beast of the line. I have a Bi-Turbo W212 and it doesn’t compare. Also try brake boosting to build your RPMs at the line. The good thing about the M156 is no turbo lag.
Everything you said is true.. I was super nervous and never ran on the track before, only a ton of races in Mexico. I also thought about pushing the brake pedal to the floor to put the car in hold mode then just and soon as i press the gas the car goes.. wasnt thinking of anything at all that night but it was a great learning experience for me with track running and its going to only get better.. im leaning towards the mid 700s in hp when i bring her back out to run next spring on some Mickey Thompsons..

Who won between the AMG and the McLaren? It looked like the McLaren caught it on the top end.
The AMG never pulled up fully to the line so off rip got disqualified but my guy in the AMG said he beat him to the finish line.
