when it comes to 6.5 stuff you cant beat leroy.. so far I have relocated PMD, ops extension hose, boost bolt, fuel pressure tap bolt, bypass oil filter...this oil cooler hose kit is next on my list.
Excellent video, can't wait to come see ya and buy this along with your lift pump kit. Maybe we can also get on a path for some more upgrades in the future as well.
package came in three days as said. cooler itself was remanufactured and braised around one of the nuts. as far as machined in shop, not sure as all the fittings say china on em, lol. over all, the braided lines look tough as nails. cant wait to put it on, ill just make sure to be carefull on the backing wrench when tightening the fittings into the cooler nut where the fat braise bead is lol. for the money its way cheaper than any other cooler and line kit and was on my porch in three days so i cant wait to put it on. if i get another vehical with a 6.5 ill be gettin the blue ribbon cooler from heath for an extra 50$.
would it be worthwhile to mount a dual remote oil filter on the fender well or frame of the truck to add filtration and another quart of oil? Can another oil cooler be mounted horizontally under the cab with a fan to draw or blow air to cool the oil as well? I am thinking about adding these two items to my 6.5 and a oil temperature sending unit and gauge in the cab to monitor temperature. Also, for the 4L80e users, adding a second cooler similarly to the passenger side with a fan to supplement cooling to the factory cooler, remote transmission oil filter and temperature sending unit and gauge. I was thinking of adding a third gauge in a pillar mount. which additional gauge would you add if you were looking to monitor engine health? great videos! I hope you have at least two apprentices working under your direction? the diesels will be around forever!
Oh? Okay hummmm ... are you a real human or some kind of Ale-e-yum from outside space? BTW I liked the video and was looking for info on oil coolers because I'm rebuilding a 6.5 and the GM oil lines are less then optimum.
