Good job. If your going to have an issue with block fittings its normally on the 1994 6.5's. They have extra flashing/casting on the that requires trimming. A sawsall will take care of it in 30 seconds. Basically just need to nib of appox 3/16" of the manifold.
Yes its a tight area and not a fun job. I also use a big Phillips screwdriver inserted into the fitting (when its in position) to rotate the fitting. A stubby wrench is also your friend.

@@Kaliburz Literally 30 seconds and a saw & you will be good to go. Mostly on 94 only GM casted the manifold with a bunch of extra material. You just need to make room so the one fitting can rotate (other will clear no problem). Pretty rare for it to happen on other years of trucks, Suburbans. www.leroydiesel.com if I can help...

Not to self. When my 6.2 swap is getting rebuilt. Put the cooler line fittings in before installing.

I got a nice set of offset angle wrenches that i believe will work great for this job.

Yeah I'm doing mine right now. I had to grind part of my exhaust manifold to get one of the fittings to turn. It is possible that not every truck is the same.

I did my 95 suburban. It was hell but I got them in. Hardest part was after I put the hoses on, then the oil filter an housing wouldn't fit , I had to tighten the fittings a bit up to put the filter in.

How was your oil temperature after your installation?

No change in oil temperatures because I used the same oil cooler it already had. Just replacing the leak prone factory lines with a steel braided line that is less prone to failure
