G’day Ryan! Pleasure to meet you legend. It was bloody tough I managed three nice brownies but unfortunately I saw about half a dozen cormorants and I reckon they have been raiding the river all winter and have potentially whipped out a decent number of trout. I would love to go back there come November/December and see how it fishes again and that will really determine for me how the river is holding up. Keep on trying mate! I’ve found November/December is a favourite of mine. For me that’s when I reckon the fish are at their most active after what has been a cold winter and a wet spring, plus it’s a heap of fun exploring new areas. Hopefully I bump into you again out on the water!

First time ever for me actually! Sometimes you hook up a fish but they throw the hooks pretty easily but he wasn’t going anywhere
