As someone whose favorite marvel movie is Eternals and has been living off crumbs of tiny references since 2021. This episode is AMAZING!! There couldn’t have been a better crossover than putting together some of the greatest comedic characters in marvel
Now, THIS is more like it! I didn't dislike yesterday's episode, but I wasn't wowed about it either (concept is fire though). This episode? This episode I not only enjoyed, but was wowed by immensely. I really enjoyed the crossover between Agatha Harkness and the Eternals in 1930s Hollywood. That dance-off with her and Kingo was splendid. I would watch on loop, that's how damn good it is. Looking forward to tomorrow's episode.
Right? If you watch closely, he actually went with his power to talk to Agatha privately. Just like in the movie they did with Thena. As Eternals is one of my MCU favorites, this episode is incredible. One of the best of the whole show

Usually not a fan of What If especially after season 2 but Kathryn Hahn steals the show every time😂😂😂 This episode won't appeal to everyone, but those who love Agatha's over-the-top theatrics will love this.

I always wanted marvel to make the connection between eternals and witches, taking that both lived centuries on earth, so of course they would be aware of each other's existence! Btw I love that they really went deep in the Eternal's mythology. They've been ignored for far too long lol
i think there's always a reason why they bringing back all these past character like Celestials, even tho the project has been cut off. Since F4 remake are on the way, maybe this is one of the reason to reintroduce it in the small medium like what if, yk to reintroduce the Celestials since Galactus coming. And on the last eps of what if 3x1, they also bringing back Sam Wilson as Captain America. knowing that the Brave New World coming next year. they doing it not just to reintroduce but also a promote these characters (even tho i don't know if majority of the fans still watching the side content like tv series etc.)

I really hope they do come back to this one because I'd like to see more of the Eternals and Celestials and what happens next in this story. My guess is Agatha must've gotten the powers of either Makkari, Athena or Ikaris first to take the powers of the other Eternals. The three of them have the best combat powers to last long enough to take power from the rest. I'd start with Ikaris because he is so cocky it would be easy to trick him into using his eye beams and absorbing the power, then Makkari and Athena. After that the rest of the Eternals should be a cake walk with those three Eternals powers. If she took down one Celestial after becoming one and after doing what Agatha does best stealing powers she's Celestialx2 now. So if she can disable one of the other ones quickly she might be able to handle the other two. If she absorbed one more of their powers that's curtains for their mechanical butts.
If they were fighting on a different dimensional plane, then maybe they won't have gravitational effects lol. You can see them, but they aren't physically "there". Just throwing out random ideas lol

We don't know what Celestials are made of. What elements or molecules it could be. It's very possible and most likely what ever they are made of does not have an affect on gravity. Otherwise, Agatha being in close proximity to earth would have caused a collision of the two gravities. Or if 2 Celestials come close together they would be be drawn together like a black hole. I like the concept of the episode but the execution felt so easy and lame. So Agatha becomes a Celestial and she can instantly slap the shit out a Celestial? Like, for real? She should struggle more than that! Also the Celestial got defeated and tricked so easily by a mere mortal, a cosmic being, godly, tricked by a mortal who barely started to taste that level of power. Can Agatha win a Celestial? Mmm maybe? I'm 40/60, maybe 30/70 to her win chances but not that easy in a way that make him look like a joke. Oh yeah, it's supossed to be joke... Well it's a lame joke, better leave the comedic tone for another episode like... I don't know Howard the duck
hahaha. all i was saying was that on lenses, you usually have an aperture ring to open and close the aperture of a lens to let it in more or less light. all the mayhem of the battles, that would be the only conceivable way i can reason camera operators on howard stark’s set capturing anything. assuming some of the same facts about our own actual reality, film back then had a very low ISO of something insane like ISO 25 or ISO 50. That’s why film sets on old Hollywood stages had to be blasted with so much light.

This is a weird show. I just started with it on this season and only because I have a 3d model request for Agatha and needed to see how this costume moves and breathes. I had read comics and those were usually just deviations on stories that existed and the left field stuff reserved for special issues. Not so much genre bending as this. That was a different titled comic or just "alt timeline" stuff aka same character but their alignment is flipped and they have a different costume. Hence weird but it's engaging. In the first episode I pictured people who work in or are studied in the action figure, toy and Cartoon Ad industry being stoked about it since it was laden with industry (80's mostly) cues. This of course the entertainment industry. I spent a little time there so I kind of knew when I watched your reaction I would at least see Achara light up because, that's the old car scent for you right? For me the people that brought me out where from the generation (children of) and showed me all that old "Tinsel Town" stuff so I felt a lot of nostalgia. I say this though wondering how it will resonate with purest superhero comic fans. I imagine what I will see is polarized reviews (the first episode is more in their season given it relates to what their fandom indulges). As a first timer to this show what I think I will say at this point is it's a cute novelty. I do not feel much weight by what is happening in these episodes. Like a lot with spoilers in Multiverse Of Madness what is going on here should be of massive consequence to the entire MCU yet I already know it's of none and these are throw away, more than half not even of import to their own self-contained storylines. Hence cute rather than invoking anxiety say like the Avengers or Guardians do where everything that happens is like a ripple in a pond. I did study up to the stuff that came before and know there is an overarching plot, so just like the MCU proper, where padding is being laid down for that end "game" episode. And that it's based in the very first What If? comics where the same structure was present (The Watcher steps and chooses champions from more than one timeline to defeat to a major threat, right?). But I still can tell much of it just throw away eye candy. And that's good or bad depending on what your down with. I think it's kind of fun but I'm going disregard it quickly before moving on to something else. Short of all the stuff I wrote down and sketched about this Agatha of course. I think I will see the series out even having completed the task since I already put the time in. That's requested btw because game developers apparently said to heck with that Agatha show (and X-Men 97) both of which are utterly popular so I'm getting mod requests. Odd that they would not project those shows would be massive hits but I saw the fandom do that too. Some sort of cognitive bias I suppose. My former was pars and projections and you only go where the calculus takes you so I already off ahead of time. Their loss either way for not putting their chips on these tables. What If is a subject game developers pick up since it's a comfortable fit but will likely avoid the character Agatha at any rate so it falls to me. Anyway happy holiday whatever form that takes for anyone. It was a lot of fun watching Achara's face beaming to this one so thanks for that smile this morning before getting to work here.
Just I thought I had and it's probably way off but the "modern" Indian dance style? What I "think" that was supposed to be about and maybe much of this was West Vs East entertainment industry which currently is a really important thing. Not really a competition of course as much a unified effort albeit staged like any friendly match up to motivate the workforce. I also know Marvel related and superhero comic in turn is a market that is blowing up in the Eastern nations currently due the attention the MCU shows brought to it. But that's what I think the whole thing here was. A metaphor. And given how meta this and the last episode were (unexpected by me) and it wouldn't surprise me.

Just I thought I had and it's probably way off but the "modern" Indian dance style? What I "think" that was supposed to be about and maybe much of this was West Vs East entertainment industry which currently is a really important thing. I also know Marvel related and superhero comic in turn is a market that is blowing up in the Eastern nations currently due the attention the MCU shows brought to it.
