I like to think when they were showing us the illustrations of the different universes, this was their way of saying, “Sorry we couldn't get to these ideas, read the comics” 😅
The writers had a lot of pitches that marvel just didn’t allow for some reason Like there was supposed to be a ghost rider one , Shang chi vs iron fist and even an xmen one.
I think those were scrapped because Ghost Rider has only been present in Agents of SHIELD, which current Marvel seems determined to pretend never happened, Iron Fist has only appeared in the Netflix show that never got as popular as the others, and they have apparently decided to just dripfeed us X-Men stuff with nostalgia cameos and minor roles until (I'm guessing) the next Avengers movies properly reveal them
@@preciousroy7 Those two actually make sense because they've both had time to shine in prior series and movies, Sam will star in the next Captain America movie and Ironheart has her own series on the way. I hope that even after What If ends we still get more of The Exiles. Episode 3 and 4 stood out the most for me. I LOVED these episodes, loved the messages they held, the meaning of everything they focused on. Just great episodes overall for me.

This is why I cut my reaction channels down a lot when it comes to animation. What if stories you're basically thrown in to different worlds where heroes and villains are already established in different universes sometimes there's no origin story or start with the character new to their powers. There wasn't any time crunch regarding this show you just see a character then when they next show up they have a whole story which we as readers or viewers don't see. But reactors these days can't immerse themselves into things without being beaten over the head with all the information. They complain about stories that are more talkative and not action heavy. Then they complain about stories that skips the info dump and only action packed. Everything got to be steeped in what we experienced in the real world and they've forgotten that these stories were basically made for children and teens or adults that want to have the feelings of watching this as they did when they were teens. This wasn't made for 30 plus year old who nitpick and deep analyze every single detail of what's a comic book fantasy show..my favorite things used be watching others react to things I grew up on that I watched after school but that ended when I saw all the channels that can't suspend beliefs in what they're watching. I went from 30 plus channels down to 4 or 5 that I watch on a regular basis and when I go back to see what I'm missing I stop watching after 4 minutes .
Ooh ooh! Hey Jaby, you know what I’d like to see… you watch a thing you like and not complain so much about it! I don’t know if anyone else has noticed how politely Achara keeps telling Jaby to “shut the f up!”.
I wish they had done more stories related to the Snap, like other people being dusted or maybe "What if Thor went for the head" where Thanos died, nobody got dusted and new enemies appeared instead. Or more involving characters from the Netflix shows, like Daredevil and the Punisher
What If is part of the Multiverse, but in is own universe. In chronological order after Endgame is Loki season 1and 2, all three seasons of What If, Deadpool and Wolverine, WandaVision, Shangi Chi, Falcon and the winter soldier, far from home, eternals, no way home, multiverse of Madness, hawkeye, she hulk, moonknight, wankanda forever, echo, ms marvel, love and thunder, werewolf by night, GOG Holiday Special, antman 3, GOTG 3, Secret Invasion, the marvels, Agatha All Along

Just one comment, Jabby REALLY needs to stop overthinking things, just enjoy the ride like Achara does, to be blunt after a while Jabby's overthinking becomes tedious and not enjoyable to listen to, and I say this with the greatest respect:)
The only thing I was disappointed about was they could've had Starlord(T'Challa) in these final two episodes, but they dropped the ball on that. They could've easily got a voice actor that could do the voice of the character for two episodes. Other than that I enjoyed the final two episodes, but just would've been extremely excited if they had done that. Being able to see Storm and T'Challa interacting with each other would've been awesome. I think the only reason Infinity Ultron was able to hear The Watcher is because if I remember correctly he said that story was the one that breaks his heart. In all the other times he watched the many Infinity Ultron destroying their home universes he never said anything because it was before he started to care more about what was happening. So he let his guard down and spoke for the first time out of all of those Infinity Ultron universes and that one heard him. That Madisynn reference had me rolling. 🤣 I don't know why I like her character so much though, she just so likeable for some reason. Well considering the way the final episode monologue ended showing all those different universe character possibilities maybe the show will come back after all the characters are officially back for MCU to use. Not sure if you two saw the version of Kahhori that was an X-Man which makes me wonder if her character is going to appear in the MCU live action as an X-Man in the future. For me if I like a movie franchise or TV series as a whole I will rewatch all of them every time a new sequel or season comes out. Although for TV shows I stop after Season 3 if the seasons are over 13 episodes and just watch the season before the new season. If the TV series is having its last season I always watch all the seasons again before the final season even if it's 10 seasons long out of respect for the show I love to watch. I'm not picky about watching individual episodes or sequels unless I absolutely can't stand them. That doesn't happen that often though. I guess I'm just built differently and really love entertainment so much I don't mind rewatching it over and over. BTW, "What If" is supposed to be the way they told the stories because that 's the same way the comic book stories were told. So it's not Disney doing anything it's just the way the comic series is written in Marvel. Achara got it right about what the series was supposed to be...it's just about "What If" this happened and the consequences of it. It's canon because it's all a part of the multiverse.

Was that sarcasm in the opening? I have noticed that only a handful of reactors including yourselves are covering this season at all and more often on a delay so I assumed it was not trending. Squid Game on the other hand? Anyway I think no it is not fantastic. It is not Endgame level which I think unfortunately established sort of a zenith that everything else unfairly gets measured against. I do think it is a fun show to watch and also I like that it does not put a lot of pressure on me as a viewer. Something that seems to be the biggest criticism of it. Like the events in it are not of a great import to feature MCU movies. What Party Thor did will not come up later for example. Personally I like that break from the norm though. I also have noticed with this show everyone's specific good and bad episodes varies greatly. Your reactors over at Reel Rejects for example have a polarized opinion than yours. And so on. I think that's just the genre bending aspect of it. Either the chosen appeals to the viewer or it doesn't. This is either a pot luck proposition or more a fishing expedition (in which Zombies apparently hooked). It's really not a reflection of the quality of work regardless rather a matter of demographics. One thing in this season that did sort of tick me off was the blatant placement of promotions for upcoming MCU projects but I do feel that they dressed them up well enough to not be too contrasted and ruin the immersion.
Missed this one sorry: "Why watch?" or some such? You are reactors. You are The Watchers. The audience is The Watchers. The comic book readers are The Watchers. That's the answer.
It was sarcasm. What If reactions didn't interest the audience as much as did for us to watch it. But I liked episodes 3, 6, 7 and 8. I feel like it didn't kick off with the right episode so it might have lost some potential interest. Who knows?
@@CinePals I could have just not been lazy and went and checked the margins but I sort of felt this show out. Mostly reviews are all pretty negative and of the show and in generally so I mostly wanted to place a bet that it be low trending and see if I was right. I'm new to it as of season 3, read up on the background, but again think it get's an unfair shake. While it isn't Endgame levels of quality I do think it is a fun show to watch and like yourselves they did hook me in that I would be up for seeing more of some of these characters.
I would HATE to see this as a live action movie😂😭. There’s so much more you can do with this animation than with actual people and it shows Also WHERE were these moves at even Ultron threatened everything, WATCHER?!
why it cant be live action: money. duh. they are not spending the kind of money it would be needed for the effects on a crew of unestablished newbies, especially not after the marvels flopped. now an animated film? also no because disney is determined to keep the mcu/marvel stuff out of the animated film sector for reasons..............
Too bad the “enlightened” Ultron couldn’t have rebuilt his dead universe before leaving. 🤨 Hang in there Jaby. Any frustration you have on expanding stories speaks to the quality ideas and writing. The Guardians are just a vehicle to do these fan oriented what ifs. They don’t really have a purpose in the Marvel cosmology.

I need these characters in avengers secret wars!
So we not gonna say nun about Peggy being in space and not dying makes no sense lol
I thought about that. But I've already been told too many times over the year I overthink these things so I let it go. lol.
@@CinePals 🤷♂️ they could have at least have kahhori make her a bubble like Green Lantern like Peggy is just superhuman what do ppl mean don’t overthink it lol
Jaby digging that hole deeper for himself. lol
There’s so much more you can do with this animation than with actual people and it shows
Also WHERE were these moves at even Ultron threatened everything, WATCHER?!
Episode 4 was the best of this season....
Wow 😳😳🤯🤯
* *Shall We*
why it cant be live action: money. duh. they are not spending the kind of money it would be needed for the effects on a crew of unestablished newbies, especially not after the marvels flopped. now an animated film? also no because disney is determined to keep the mcu/marvel stuff out of the animated film sector for reasons..............
I'm disappointed your haven't tried DanDaDan. Just watch the first episode then decide if you want to keep watching.
Too bad the “enlightened” Ultron couldn’t have rebuilt his dead universe before leaving. 🤨
Hang in there Jaby. Any frustration you have on expanding stories speaks to the quality ideas and writing.
The Guardians are just a vehicle to do these fan oriented what ifs. They don’t really have a purpose in the Marvel cosmology.
Well, this is it. The grand finale. Goodbye, What If…?. This has been a wild ride.
Hi guys I love your vids I'm subscribed keep on the good content.
2:04 I am so woke that I didn’t even notice it was an all women team while watching. 😂😂😅
