It's always kind of amusing that foot soldiers with rifles are able to destroy what, in cutscenes, are shown to be huge armored capital ships built for space warfare.
Or if they'd properly targetted their missiles to actually hit in the middle of the clump, instead of getting aborted because the marauders already killed the targets.
I think its pretty fair because the turrets placed earlier in the fight were great distractions for the Dragoons, as well as the other devices.. plus the top side od Dragoons died because of the turrets that were placed and the other ravens still had CD going on
Any competent nova player would have deployed spidermines. Then the diamondbacks would have been screwed. You rarely take armies of that size head on with Nova's unit, the griffin airstrikes are meant to do that.
Kinda surprised by the first match results, but I guess hyperion not moving reduced its DPS. Still bummed at siege tanks not using their deploy spider mine ability. Like, that's pretty much their only saving grace against any other variant! And yeah, the second fight would have definitely been different had the Ravens placed those turrets at the start of the fight, not near tge end
Problem with the spider mine ability is that it costs minerals. It's not an energy based. And if you start to use mineral based ability, you might argue why Nova's unit are not covered by the shielding drone too. And you quickly reach a point where Nova's unit become just unkillable

And while spider mines do cost minerals, it can be counted as unit's resource cost. The inly actual problem I see is it being an active cast spell which, considering the Ravens in this video, should not be a problem.
The ravens did use railgun turrets at the start, dragoons are just strong vs them. Also Tya specifically modified the hyperion to always have the triple dps by increasing it's attack speed, which is extremely noticeable by looking at how many projectiles it is launching. The coop hyperion's main attack while standing still is laughable, sadly.

Hyperion would have totally won if they were moving around. They deal more damage when moving and shooting for some reason
They changed it so standing still, still does the same damage while moving
tya's already edited it to give it the 3x attack speed it has when moving.
They changed it in a previous video. It now has 3x attack speed while still.
The issue with that first fight is that Nova's Marines don't hurt themselves when using Stimpack. There was no downside to using that attack steroid.

Primal zerglings have a LOT of hp + i think more damage, also at a resource disasvantage.

Thought there were too many elite marines for the Hyperions and infested diamondbacks for the seige tanks.

It certainly would be nice to see those tanks deploy some spidermines. I wasn't expecting them to be particularly smart in this situation, though.

Look at the costs of each army in the losing battles and you will realize Nova's units are straight up better than even other commanders units.
