Those 'tech workers' are all paid actors. You can tell by the way they are all in great shape and not running around panic stricken with giant bags under their eyes.
Well most tech workes I know are actually in quite good shape and so on, but nobody I know would calmly continue a meeting while next to you a TV crew stages an experiment with drones. That is very unrealistic indeed. So I agree they are most proably actors or paid extras rather than tech workers.
