Thanks for this review! As a reward-based trainer, I agree with your points about not using this harness on young growing dogs - any front clip only harness will cause too much pulling on the joints - and about the chafing - not great for short haired breeds. It also tends to slip around and I've found it to fall short with really strong dogs. My preference is a 2-points of contact harness like Freedom, or even better, British brands like Perfect Fit or Xtradog - check those out! ;-)
I have used the harness and it worked great. My dog had a bad habit of pulling hard and my daughter could not hold him. After using the harness to walk him for about 2 weeks he now does not pull on a regular leash
I have a 13 week old White Golden Retriever and have been having a heck of a time fitting this harness that the breeder uses. I think it’s too big for him cause I can’t get the chest strap fit enough. Thanks for your video. I’m going to wait for him to get a bit older and definitely use it then.
Oh yes, be careful using a harness on a growing puppy. I would definitely wait on this one for sure. While he's growing just use a regular collar and leash - this will be easier to fit and safer for his growing bones and joints. Plus he will be growing so fast you will end up needing multiple sizes which can be quite the investment as well.
My Saint Bernard mix and Newfoundland did not do well with this Pet Safe harness. I do not like that it pulls to the side and pulls their shoulder. To be honest, I haven’t found a no pull harness that actually works. Tried several different brands including the Freedom.
I've been using this to help train my mom's "teenage" dog who is a sweetheart but I always worry that he will pull her down the stairs one day. The results were immediate to help him slow down.
I've had such bad experiences w/harnesses (mostly of my dog pulling right out of them, no matter how it's fitted to her.) Nothing, but nothing, is worse than chasing a Norwegian Elkhound that just disappears when it slipped its harness!

It did not work for me at all. I hope other people have better luck.
I'm so sorry. Have you found a harness that works better? Are you using it to stop pulling on leash, or just as a general use harness?
Don't get this. I've given a chance and uh, no. Buy a vest instead.
how old is that dog like 18? show us no pull on an energetic 1 year old pup.
