It’s a small miracle these Taiwanese manufactures are bringing these type of mini motorcycles to the American market. Unfortunately here in America we tend to only buy heavy overpowered overpriced machines. Damn these “little” bikes are fun!!
My wife bought a used Kymco 500 scooter a couple of years ago. It ended up being too tall in the seat for her so I rode it for a good while. That scooter would hit 75 mph in no time. It was so quick that I would leave everybody behind at a red light. We couldn't find anyone who serviced Kymco in our area, so we sold it before we had any trouble with it.
Showing a wide variety of bikes is a good idea. More of that, please.
$3,339msrp so not under 3k now. Still would rather get a spade than a grom. I don't know how durable everything is since I never had one.

For about 5 weeks now I've been the happy owner of a 2017 Kymco People 300i gt scooter, here in Somerset, UK. Like you Shawn, l didn't know much about the Kymco brand, but l've also been very impressed by the comfort, power and value for money. Its very speedy acceleration (for a 300) makes it a real pleasure to ride. Having the first service, 1000km, next week. As for long-term rust problems, guess time will tell. Great video! Ur review is dead on!! I bought a brand new Kymco 2020 spade . Luv it. Comfy, quick great sound in the helmet and feels great!! Vertical tach is sweet. But it does makes the same squeal when you get rolling like urs -only when rotors are cold. “ must hv been the ol minivan” hilarious ! Blame the minivan. How can u get it to stop? Thanks man😉 “

I love that bike, but at 6' 240 I don't fit. Which is a little strange, because I used to ride a Kawasaki Eliminator 125, and fit just fine. And even with my weight it would top 65 mph.
that would be a perfect bike for the wifey to learn on!
Looked at something similar in the UK Shawn a Lexmoto Valiant as you say cool fun and comfy 👍👍👍👍👍👍I thank you for your kind comments I was watching you and Kelly riding a bike through a huge tree in California I think 2am at night found it hard to sleep in hospital noise on a surgical ward 24 hours a day they are long hours so every little thing helps the day I went home Sunday 12th November I slept the clock round boy was I bushed however on the mend today the Doctors say 6 to 8 week recovery after Spinal Surgery so as you both say dear friends I'm taking it easy 👍

In TH-cam app go to settings and scroll to "Uploads." Make sure "upload quality" is set to "Full Quality." This is just a guess and maybe you've already tried it but I just looked and my iPhone was set to 1080p by default.

Don't mean to be a downer but they don't have much of a reputation here in UK, you would have to cover it in ACF50 due to the rust factor, but as you say it's a cheap way of getting around 🖒😎

Kymco is actually a really good brand. They make engines for Honda and Yamaha and other manufactures.
They make engines for BMW also.

waste of money. buy a sportster w that type of money. keep that pos in Taiwan. This is coming from someone who’s first bike was a kymco kpipe, good first bike but overall not a good value. A sportster is the best small bike one can own.
