I have a 2022, Kymco Agility. 667 miles, and so far so good. It's the lime green color, and I've gotten a lot of compliments. 😎

I agree with most of your comments, and you are mostly right. As I mentioned in MM video, I am an experienced rider and I've had close to 15 bikes of all sizes and styles, and no bike is perfect. Well maybe the Honda VFR 800 is the closest to perfection that exist, but generally speaking no bike is perfect. That's why when you choose a bike, it depends in what is more important for you for your style of riding. If you want to modify it and do stunts, then you should get a Grom and not a Spade because the Grom is better for that and have more after market support. I've had two Honda Groms that I really liked, a 2014 and a 2023 and my 2014 Grom was the one that got me into mini motos and since then I love mini motos. I also have two Kymco Spades, a 2018 and a 2020, and I love them. I prefer the Spade over the Grom because I feel more comfortable in the Spade, I like the style of the Spade better, and it's more practical. Once a week I ride my Spade to work 25 miles away on highway for a total 0f 50 miles. I couldn't do that commute in my Grom because the Grom can't keep up with the traffic in the highway like the Spade does. I know you are not redlining the Spade to avoid damage to the engine, but I do redline mine often (although mostly in the low end of the redline and not all the trip), and it can take it with no problem. I am 6' tall and 200 pounds, and the Spade can sustain consistently 65 mph at 8500 rpm in the highway. The Grom can't do that. I am aware these are not bikes made for the highway, but I feel comfortable doing some highway in the Spade, while I would not do it on the Grom. I have done 65 mph on my Grom, but it can't sustain them while the Spade can. I have reached 74mph on my Spade. Redlined, but yes it has reached those speeds. And the Spade tolerates redlining very well. I trust both brands and both are great mini motos, but after owning them both for a while, I sold the Groms and kept the Spades because in my opinion the Spades are just better. And that comes from a Honda fan. I really like the digital dash and LED lights on the Grom, I like the Grom itself; it's a fun little bike. It's just that the Kymco is more comfortable, looks better and has that extra power that makes a difference and makes it more practical. In relation to the fuel light, it seems to be a common issue on the Spades, and I had experienced it in my 2020 after not closing properly my fuel cap, but the problem haven't persisted and the bike is working well and without the fuel light on. It is possible that it comes back in the future; we will see. I've had my Spades for three years and they have never given me any problems; they are solid bikes. The Spade is a little heavier than the Grom because it's all metal, not plasticky. I personally like that, and it helps it at higher speeds. Related to the rear drum, yes it's old school (like the look of the bike), but if you adjust them, they get the job done. I agree that disk brakes are better but as you mentioned it's not such a big deal, and certainly not a deal breaker for me, while the limited power on the Grom is. I can't say anything about your Spade's rear brakes because I am no expert, but none of my two Spades have that sound problem with my rear brake. I really don't know why, if it's my breaking style or what, but mine doesn't have that issue. I like the look of the Grom, it looks cool and beautiful, but I love the retro look of the Spade, and although beauty is a matter of taste, in my humble opinion, the Spade looks better. I am glad MM took off that horrible rack from the back of his bike, although not on time for this video. I like MM's videos too. Thank you for your video, I appreciate your work, and I've enjoyed it. I didn't mentioned the price difference because even if they cost the same, I would still get the Spade, but the truth is that you can find a nice used Spade for $1,500 while you will not find a Grom or a z125 for that price. So the Spade is also a better deal.

Amazingly detailed reply, thank you! Midget Moto keenly pointed out that his bike, unlike mine, has a 5th gear so my "high speed" run was a failure on my part.
As for the rear rack- MM has something in the works on that so stay tuned to his channel for more info ;)

Have you had to replace anything on them yet? Looking into getting a Spade and my only concern is the availability of vital parts since they are no longer in production.

@@abeandmelAny Kymco dealer can get parts for the Spade . They still provide parts support for it. I have had zero issues in 3yrs.

Some knobbies would make it a mean looking machine.
Theres an aftermarket exhaust for them out there. Check it out.
    I love those lil bikes.

If you mean the key hole on the left hand side near the seat, it unlocks the seat and gives you access to the battery.

@@shawnwiggins5927 I looked at my bike and found out it is in fact a fork lock. If you turn your bars to the left all the way, the key will rotate 180 degrees and allow you to take it out. The forks will be locked so they cannot be straighten out. Thanks for pointing this out!

You leave out a very important point the thing about this bike is it is much faster than a grom you're wrong about the freeway speeds I bought one and I can get it to 74 on the freeway and the grom is too slow and won't go on the freeway As bad as you say the suspension is It has 2 rear shocks and the Grandma only has one

You're absolutely right about the top speed- it was a big miss on my part. It is definitely faster than the grom.
2 isn't always better than 1 when it comes to springs
