Oh yeah definitely I'll be removing the body off the frame again. Just bolting it up to the new frame so I can cut off the firewall and weld the new metal back in place. Once I have the metal work done and body work I'll remove it from the frame so I can paint underneath the car and the frame. Thanks I appreciate that 👍

I have one, not an Impala though, the least desirable one. I hope to start on sometime in a few years. I have to make do with what I have and work with it. I don't have connections in the car hobby and left it years ago because of one sided attitudes and shops and mechanics see ones like me coming and dollar signs popped up real fast. Attitudes seem to be changing a bit now. The car is mostly 99% complete. I would like to put a three on the tree back in. I'm in Winnipeg. I do love the Impala but I'll never afford one nowadays.

    • @fullyloadedkustoms

1958 Biscayne is the one that you must have? Or is it the Delray? I think the Del Rey must be the one they made for only one year in 1958. It replaced the 150 models from the previous year in 1957. It's still pretty sweet to be owning a 1958 Chevy regardless of what the trim style is. Still make it beautiful Vehicles what's they've been restored. That's awesome, especially the vehicles 99% complete. Hopefully, you can get that one back on the road some day 👍🏻

@@fullyloadedkustomsThanks, yes a DelRay 4 dr. Last drove in '71, still has original paint(gold and beige). Fairly decent, the usual rust from that period. Interior needs to be made new but overall restorable. At least I was able to keep in inside since '97 just after I bought it. I need to get the body off to properly finish the floor, frames in the way.
