Cycling the Beautiful Sunshine Coast (A BIG ride to kickstart 2019!)

  • A big 130 km ride to kickstart 2019. Join myself, Aidan and Iain, as we cycle around the beautiful Sunshine Coast / Noosa area to kick-start 2019 the right way! We ride our bikes through Peregian Springs, Cooroy, Ponoma, Boreen Point and wrap up for a coffee in Noosa. I also pose the question - does anyone know the best way to manage a thick Scottish accent while riding side by side with someone?

Always very nice to ride with your buddies. Nonsense is the communication. Always. Because it forces guys to violate the SINGLE FILE riding rule and possibly obstruct traffic - giving cyclists their deserved BAD name.
So, if anyone has the genius for it, there a HUGE, HUGE market waiting for a comms device that's light, portable, hands-free, voice activated AND controlled that allows cyclists to talk whilst riding single file even up to 1km apart.
Looks like a very nice part of the world there mate and your riding stats @9:34 shows how fit you are. Thanks for sharing. Great stuff!

I’m considering coming up to Noosa for a few weeks of riding in August to escape the Melbourne winter. Is there enough riding to keep me interested for that long?
