What a delight! I lived along the coast in Dorset for many years and never went on the tramway. I am now retired in thd Canary islands and doubted I ever would. This video has made it possible.
I only remember them at Eastbourne but I forget the gauge. The tight turns are typical tramway but without grooved rail I am surprised at the lack of checkrails on the curves.
I've just watched the trolley reverser in operation at 22:53. Sheffield used them a lot but I never had any success incorporating one in 1:16 scale, let alone 4mm!

Thank you very much. Glad I’ve managed to help. There should be a new video from the tramway up now. Filmed in 4K if you happen to be interested 😊
I last travelled on this back in 1981 !!! ... Yes, the Seaton terminus is totally different now !!

The Seaton terminus has changed massively since I was there in October 2007
They’ve done a huge rebuild. The new one is really impressive. Even if it is a little too modern for my own tastes 🤔
A little grease takes care of those noisy turns.
Nice bit of flange squeal 😂
What is the safety system used on this tramway? Is it token or just radio or some other form of communication?
I believe it is a mix of line-of-sight and hand signals between drivers, they do all carry radios as well
The best is the cabriolet
TRAVELLED, not TRAVELED.
Good spot. Thanks
