Would have been nice to put the Station names. The only one I saw was Dunster.
I was going to go here in August this year. I was wanting to take my twins and myself. Until I nearly had a heart attack about the price per person. £30! For the whole family it would be £120! That’s almost double a theme park for a family. They should reduce their prices they’ll get more people going!! Looks like you had a great tie.
She’s a very brave girl to take the lead.
Parabéns gostei muito
exhilarating fun wish it was me
Looks steep?
3 miles at 1 in 36, so for a former railway line, yes, coming back up was a challenge!
A perfect little Railway
Great video indeed! What a quaint little railway!

But i have do my safing and make show you make it saf ok
I will be juning but i come for Wrexham
boring sorry
WOW
I went there first week of Jan 2024 as a beginner, didn't get to do that run as I fell awkwardly on day 2 on the Diable blue run and sort of twisted my left knee, and couldn't put much weight on it in the evening, so spent the remaining 4 days more or less in my room. As a Plan B as I'm now taking lessons at the snow dome in Manchester *IF* I decide to ever go back there, I'll be by then a seasoned skier with my own gear i.e. boots and ski's.
Thanks for sharing. where were you standing to video please?
I came across your video last and realised I had filmed the ship’s departure from Greenock with my my drone th-cam.com/video/8L_qOhn3aUU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KaXgm4innEBZWX3Q

We're doing this cruise May '24. I'm just wondering what the weather is like generally. Since we're travelling from Tasmania to get there, we're also jumping on the Sky for 'Scandinavia and the Land of the Midnight Sun' cruise for 28 days just after finishing the British isles cruise.
May/June can always be hard to guess, we were lucky on this one that it was fairly warm most days. May can often be nice though!
Hello Ben Embling Owner, I saw your TH-cam channel, you upload very nice videos on your channel. I have watched all the videos and noticed that all the videos are beautiful. But your channel has many problems. If you don't fix the problem then your video will not get video views organically. Because the TH-cam algorithm works on key words, but there is no key word in your channel! Sir, if you do SEO completely then every video will get more views than the views you get sir. Doing SEO will help your video reach the right people and the views will increase constantly. If you want to do SEO on your channel, I can help. I am an SEO expert. Thank you, have a nice day
Going there on 6 January as a mature beginner for a sort of introduction one-and-done week before I head for Alpe d'Huez in early February for another week. With a bit of luck at the end of my week all-being-well I'll be able to do that run myself.
Good morning, I am glad to hear you enjoyed your trip on the Steam Railway. Maybe next time you could try our 'Steam and Cruise' or 'Round Robin' package? Regards, Charles Paignton Station Master
Thank you for your reply, one we will look at for the future!
great video
Love it! 2 ft or?
Yes, 2ft gauge
Thank you.@@benembling4027
It was awesome !!!
I grew up right on the ocean between Boston and capecod, even though I was a water baby, there's something about the ocean that draws me in, like the primitive part of my brain recognizes a connection. Thank you for the great video.
I've only had the pleasure of sailing on her once about 30 years ago - I still remember the smell of her engine room to this day. A beautiful ship.
Woah
Great video, visited there in 2016, Could watch these beautiful engines all day.
Was the weather cold??
Not particularly no. A little be cold to be using the outside swimming pool top often, but we had good weather throughout.
Hello! Thank you for this video :) it looks like you’re in a front suite like M108, if you are, can you comment on if they prohibited going on your balcony at all at any time during the trip? Hope you had a great trip!
No worries at all, thank you for watching, and we hope you enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I'm unable to help with your question, as we had an inside cabin for this trip, M223, however from what we heard there was only a brief ban on balconies at the stern when the air ambulance was overhead. Sorry I can't help more than that.
Ireland is not a British Isle/Island. This is an outdated Imperialistic and Possesive term that is not recognised by the Irish Government nor by the Majority of Irish people living in Ireland.
I completely accept your comment, however in the context that we are talking about "British Isles" is a purely geographical term, it may be an outdated imperialistic term but it is geographically still correct. www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/blog/whats-the-difference-between-uk-britain-and-british-isles
@benembling4027 No it is an outdated Geographical term similar to Yugoslavia. The term is not recognised by the Irish Government nor does the UK Government use the term when referring to the Island of Ireland since the signing of the Good Friday agreement. Ireland is a European Island not a British Island Geographically. I suggest you do a search of a map of Ireland and its Territorial waters and you will clearly see that Ireland can no longer be called a British Island since it regained its Independence and Territorial waters in 1922. If you still query this then please explain how Ireland is a British Island in geographical Terms. Ordinance survey UK is a private company not a Government. Also UK government papers are still using an outdated and racist term Negroid.
Yugoslavia was never a geographical term as it was a country, hence why you will find no reference to it anymore. Whilst I agree that it is an outdated term, it is still used, albeit less and less, in the context of this video, it refers to the geographical area, in the same way that the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland), are politically no longer part of the European Union, they still sit within Europe. Similarly, North America refers to the United States, Canada, and Mexico. I completely accept that it is a subject that is up for debate, and I apologise for any distress caused. However, the term is still geographically correct. Although not politically correct.
@benembling4027 It's not Geographically correct. You haven't given an explanation as to how Ireland is a British Island Geographically. Ireland is a European Island not a British Island. Also Yugoslavia was a Geographical term Just like the Soviet Union, Prussia Bombay, Ceylon etc etc Geographical Terms have been changing constantly especially in the last one hundred years.
@@condorone1501 All the examples you have just quoted are not geograpical terms, they are all former countries or cities, and define political areas, in the context we are talking about here we are referring to geographical or physical location. I am absolutely not implying that Ireland is politically a British Island. With regards to being a European Island, yes, it absolutely is, as is the rest of the United Kingdom as it still physically sits within Europe. I will be leaving this matter now as I feel that we are just going around in circles, for the context of this video, the title was written as a direct quote from the marketing material for the cruise, all cruises encompassing the United Kingdom & Ireland are marketed as British Isles Cruises, with the exception being made of course to those that are exclusively around Ireland. I will be ammending the descrition of the video however.
Beautiful
Amazing fond memories as a child going to these shows
❤
Good
Excellent place.
It really is!
My brother went to the carnival 4 years ago with the PTH group from Bournemouth to Glastonbury. They had Subway for dinner, then a walk to the town and definitely back in time to see it!!!😊
