Oh. And here's not just Dunkelheit but other Burzum favorites. Sweet.
varg somehow managed to capture a kind of cheesy evil dungeon sound without sounding cheesy in things like Ea, and then graduated to just plain evil with Hvis Lyset and Dunkelheit. pretty much everyone else except for the likes of Emperor and Dissection sounds cheesy to some extent, in my opinion. Hvis Lyset sounds genuinely fuckin dark like nothing else i've ever heard

To be honest, I like your version of these songs a lot more in some places! They change the atmosphere, but this is only good, because you seem to hear something new and fascinating, while familiar and native.
I like the sound of these riffs in your performance, if I may say so.
I would like to hear full-fledged covers of these songs.
Speaking of atmosphere. For some reason, they stood out the most, in my opinion, "Dunkelheit" and "Ea. Lord Of The Depths". That was awesome.

Even though Varg Vikernes is a racist, with a history of racism towards Arab people like me, I still love his music. His riffs are incredible, and my black metal songwriting will never be close at all to his. A truly talented black metal artist.
