Duramax LBZ solenoid buzzing fix?

so I saw this on a forum on how to fix a gummed up solenoid.
tools used:
8mm 12 point socket
14mm socket
swivel socket
3/8 wrench
flat head screwdriver
15w40 oil
wd40

Damn brother I think you just solved my problem ! I have an 06 LBZ with 167k mikes. It constantly made some buzzing sound at idle. It drove me nuts. It never threw a code with me either. I hope this solves my problem! Thanks for the video !

For sure man! If this doesn't help try taking it to the dealership or someone with a Autocal and recalibrate your vane sensor

@@rikkidiesel how do you recalibrate sensor with autocal? I've seen this mentioned a couple of times, but haven't found out how.

@@brighamwilde2653 idk but with me I didn't and people say it recalibrate itself after so many miles but it stopped making this sound but came back about 2 weeks later. Going to try to get it reflashed by an Autocal or dealership soon

Mine was my turbo vane solenoid

Where you geting any boost before you did this my truck gets none after I unplugged that and drove it but I plug it in and I still ge5 nothing

Yeah literally everything was the was fine. It ran normal but it just buzzed and still did even after I did this and had it relearned

Did i miss what the boost pressure was after fix

After I got it returned my boost psi was better but after a month of doing this..it started again. Next step is going to the dealership and having the vane sensor recalibrated

Did u have a code and check engine light? The code I got was P003 is that what you replaced?

I never got a code it was just making that sound
