What an epic video series! Thank you for sharing your adventure! And I wanted to thank you also for making me see a lot of places i know with fresh eyes. 😃
What a fantastic comment so thank you and thats what its all about is showing people the places in Scotland with the possibility of them managing to visit some of them. It was a great adventure and got to see many new places myself which was awesome. Glad you got something from them and thats really nice to hear. Steve 👍
Well done Steve, a tough crossing in places but as you say what an adventure. I accompanied my friend in 2015 and did 9 days of his 14 day crossing - it truly was amazing. I have loved watching every single one of your fabulous videos. Hope the feet have healed up :-)
Aww thank you Margaret it was just a magical experience and so many different locations on the way. Thank you for watching the journey and hope it brought back some memories and hope you get to visit some of the areas i passed through. Lasting memories made here and very lucky with the weather. I will get out again soon, my feet have heeled up thank goodness. Thanks again for the comments and see where my next adventure takes me. Steve 👍
Thank you Janice, Yes very tough in places but well worth the effort and hike to get the views. Couldn't have asked for better for my first TGO Challenge. Met loads of people on my route and crossed paths with a few along the way which was good to see. Hope to maybe do it again in 2025. Steve 👍
Congratulations Steve, what an amazing journey you've had. Inspiring me to give it a go next year. I must remember to watch out for the angry farmers wife 😜
Thats fantastic get onto the TGO website, plenty to read up on there but just amazing experience. Yeah i think she will still be raging haha. I was laughing putting that bit together and it had to be on my last day too. Glad to hear it has inspired you for 2025. Steve 👍
Its probably a fair trek for a few folk Andrew. I think most people stand at the top and get the photos and don't bother going all the way down the steps lol. You get way better photos of the Castle from the top anyway. The coffee stop at the top looked pretty good but i was heading for the bus so didn't get to try it out. Next time. Cheers Steve 👍
Hi Steve, many congratulations, what an incredible experience, I’ve loved watching your journey, just a brilliant adventure, and what a place to finish. Dunnottar Castle looked incredible. Thanks for taking us along with you All the very best Dav3 😀🥾⛰🏕️🏴🏴
Kind word again Dave, it sure has been an adventure and glad to take you along. Very surprised how well this all went. learnt a lot and seen loads and cant believe the views i passed and had when i opened my tent every morning. Have a look at the TGO website might be something you could do. Steve 👍
