    The putty is there to prevent people from loosening those set screws during normal operation. :)

    Hey do you no how to adjust quill spring tension.

    • @bocfus72
      @bocfus72 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to take the quill out carefully unwind till there is no tension, the turn the quill handle 3.5 turns you should feel the spring tighten, then lock it in place, insert the quill and guide it back with the quill handle, hope this helps if you haven’t figured it out already!!

    Nice job, good description. I would recommend grany555 on ebay to replace the speed control small gear with a steel one, it's a great improvement... (this is an unsolicited plug!)

      Ah awesome, the replacement I ordered actually came with a metal gear

    Thanks for doing this - the... background music is too loud and irritating - i need to turn it up to hear your oice, but wailing fuzzed guitar while you'er figuring something out is no fun.

      I hope the music in the new video is better, I cranked it down quite a bit

      @@CanuteCraftsI would eliminate it altogether, there’s no need for background music no matter how low in volume… the best how-to videos I’ve seen have no music background…

    Music was loud and intrusive. Just too distracting to concentrate on what you were doing. Sorry I wanted to finish but the music doesn't contribute anything.

    Terrible job, I've owned 1 for 35 years, painting it blue makes it look like a toy! Shame on you!

      He can paint it whatever color he wants. He doesn't need some old prick giving him crap. People like you make other creators not want to create..if you are so amazing where are your videos teaching anything?
