Lol yeah I thought the exact thing.

Lmao glad someone said it
If Grandpa was "super into watches" he would've kept the box and papers for his Rolex
My dad has a Rolex that’s his daily wear. I don’t think he still has the box or papers for it.
I've got a raggedy old movado that i still have the box and paperwork on, and that thing was only 350. I think if I had a rolex, I'd carry the papers on me lol
A grandpa here.....I have all of my boxes and paperwork.
The guy with the watch is full of it and what he carrying as his purse it’s a travel make up bag lol
It’s an AP not a rolex
Grandpa always has untouched tools lying around unopened and new when he was doing construction 35 years before these tools existed😅
Granpa also had a DeLorean.
I have 20 brand new tools that have never been opened, 10 rolex watches purchased directly from Rolex kiosk on Fifth Avenue, & 10 real movado watches purchased from the trunk of a car in NJ.
shame...he could use those to make a living but that dude probably never worked a day in his life
Thank you for rescuing my wedding ring. I was the woman from Cary with the 2ct stolen triangle solitaire from the restroom at around the clock while I was washing my hands. We sent pictures that evening via fax, and my in-laws took them to you and Woodstock and Fox Valley. They had just sold it to your shop. Thank you for requiring ID and being responsible and keeping excellent records. I got my ring and was so grateful.

He should be on the show stupid criminals.
Guitar was probably stolen before it entered the pawn shop the first time
He likely stole it from a family for drug money and or himself and had to get it back
The first scammer is trying to find a pawn store who will give him the $1900 thinking he doesn't know what he has and how much it is worth. So it would take 2 shady people to make that transaction.
This is the only logical thought on that guy.
It’s not shady if that’s what he asks for the watch. It’s shady if he doesn’t say a price and then 1900 is offered to him.
@@halosrustythat’s not true actually. It’s happened many times someone has sold something for a low price, like a work of art. If it can be proven that the buyer knew it was worth more than what was paid you can be sued. Happens with art a lot, example you pay $100 for a million dollar painting
Bingo, most scams rely on the mark being greedy.

@@mikekoz6351 bruh. When the interest rate is north of 20% and they routinely low-ball people to turn around and double, triple, or quadruple their profit, I'd say that's dubious at best, a scam at worst. The first guy with the goofy sunglasses...reminds me of the kinda guy that wishes he was wealthy but everything about him, from watch, to clothes, to the glasses, is a big fat lie!!
Just a FYI, Rolex did make quartz watches for a bit in the 70’s. I’m sure that one was fake since he said he was with his grandfather when it was purchased but also said he had no idea what era it was from. Awesome video as usual.
You are absolutely right. My father in-law bought one in the 70's and it's now my husband's. I also have the box and paperwork and original receipt which I think is pretty cool. I mean not many people have them I don't think, well not real ones anyway

Guitar guy had no problem taking your original offer on the fender. He’d obviously stole it from someone else. Guys a clepto.
Or fell into drugs and sold his only valuable item
More than likely fake. I see them DAILY online. People post on the Fender forum asking about the guitar they bought, only to find out it was originally sold on Ali Express smh. And nothing on it is genuine Fender anything.

There's zero chance it's a '57, even the guy selling it tries to say "it's redone" (I thought he meant refinished at first until it clicked) and "there's no way it's a real '57"
So honestly, he's asking a pretty fair price for it. It looks like it's a Made in Japan "Vintage 57" which can easily go for 2k USD in good shape. Hard to tell the condition and the year would matter a bit, but yeah. $1300 definitely isn't unreasonable, at all.

Love that you have pets in the shop. Empathy for birds and animals tells a lot about a person🙂
Sorry to be one of 'those people' but really doesn't in reality. Hitler was a passionate animal lover, a vegetarian and had a dog he adored. There's videos of him petting and cuddling with his dog. A simple care for animals does not automatically mean a great person. In fact, studies show that an over the top sense of care for animals is a common sociopath trait. A large percentage of sociopaths were found to have an odd fixation on animal care.

This channel is way more entertaining than any reality tv crap
I hate to be that guy, but just want to throw out a tip for your guitar display; if you want to keep them laying flat in the case like that, try to find something to stick under the neck to give it support. With bolt-ons, the weight of the neck at the headstock pulling down, causes the side at the body to push up. Over time, you can develop cracks at the neck pocket of the body from that constant force. They make neck supports- usually used during repairs- but even a few rolled up tshirts or something under the end of the neck could work to reduce that pressure. Really anything just to keep that neck from floating in the air. I only know this from having it happen to myself!
Unsolicited advice aside, I have been loving these videos! Keep them coming
The first scam vid a few months ago is how I found this channel. Finally we can see another.
I was wondering, I coulda sworn I saw it a good bit ago. I was like no way I saw this within 9 days it was wayyyy longer 😂
Wow, I've already seen all of these. I must be addicted to your videos!
He said in the beggining it was a replay cos so many people wanted to see them ;)
I’m guilty too! 😵💫 addicted to weird YT! 🤣
NOBODY EVER HAS RECEIPTS on Brand New In the Box stuff. Stinking we just stole this stuff from a store or warehouse.
Cause they’d just return it for full price if they bought it . They wouldn’t pawn it for half of what they paid. lol
I think the watch-guy tries to make some psychological trick. He is giving the buyer the feeling like "oh this is a good bargain" this guy doesn´t even know what he´s selling.
