Great video! I’m from Colombia, and I want to start a podcast very soon. You actually answers all my questions, and I like the third option. I have a question, my podcast is going to be in Spanish. And the only hosting that have a Spanish support and website is Spreaker. Is more difficult grow in simple cast as a Spanish podcaster or is the same? Yes! We recommend our clients and students Yes. Simplecast. The link to sign up is in the description of the video. But you can’t go wrong if you choose from the list I mention in the video. They’re all good choices.

What you think about Anchor fm. And it have some limitations Ex. Time Limit or other.
CREATIVEARTLK Anchor is pretty cool! And! They’re free. There’s really no time limit. There is a recording limit of 60min, but you can add multiple segments. Some people are concerned with the stability of the platform, but I don’t see any issues with it. To get the best out of anchor, you’ll want to also use a DAW or audio recording APP, in addition to anchor’s, to really get great sound and be efficient in editing.

I’ve decided to stay with anchor until I gain the amount of money needed to start up with square space and simple cast. The monetized format on anchor is not bad
LFX MEDIA Not a bad decision. Anchor is a great host. Epically if you use an audio editing program in combination with Anchor’s to really make your sound pop and to save time editing. Anchor also has nice analytics and nice embed options! What’s the link for your show, I’d love to check it out.

I have already purchased the domain name for my podcast, so would that domain name be the name of the landing page or would I just use my current website domain name/podcast? Pod Sound School yes actually I’m pretty much just starting out I already have a couple episode up on SoundCloud and use feed burner for an rss fee but I’m trying to switch to something better. At the moment I’m looking into simple cast, transistor, captivate, and Podbean. They seem pretty good I like how simple cast and Transistor seem more up to date but I’m also kinda of leaning on Podbean just because the first paid plan is the lowest of all of them and all plans already have unlimited storage and downloads which I like because I might not have to worry about that in the future. What do you think? Even though I am new and only have 2 episodes up I’m really planning on taking it seriously so I just want to make sure I future proof myself and chose a good host now.
Victor Ulloa We recommend Simplecast to our clients. We also recently switched our podcast to Simplecast. What we like about Simplecast is it’s analytics, embedded player, and that is user friendly. At the end of the video I recommend Simplecast. 😀

A question for you or anyone who wants to answer...
I am attempting to host my own podcast, that is, manually create and upload my .xml RSS feed so that it points to my episodes, cover art, etc. The URL within the xml document that points to an episode, if I am not mistaken, must end in ".mp3", just as URLs pointing to cover art must end in ".jpg" or ".png". That being said, I cannot find a platform on which to upload mp3 files and images, that will convert them to a link with the proper ending. I have briefly looked into using Filezilla, but no free (which is my budget unfortunately) webhosts support ftp (Google Sites, Wix, Weebly, Squarespace, Google Drive, Dropbox, pCloud, even QR code redirects).
So I either need a free webhost that supports ftp, or I need a cloud platform that can take an uploaded mp3 file (the podcast episode) and generate a URL link for it ending in .mp3, which I can then manually paste in my RSS Feed. If anyone has a few tips I would be grateful. :)

Hello I have a question. I am like kindergartner new to podcasting. I have my own domain name and my host is podbean but I do not have a website yet ( too difficult right now). Am I suppose to connect my domain to podbean or just use their podbean domain? What exactly is my domain attached to? Thank you
Great question.
If you purchased your domain from GoDaddy or google, it won't be connected to anything until you tell it to. So you can connect it to your podbean account and then your podbean page would be what pops up.

I'm completely lost. You can profit from Anchor correct? How do I profit from simplecast?
Yes, you can start to make a small profit from Anchor after you get 1000 or more downloads per episode. Simplecast makes it possible to run Dynamic Ads on your podcast episodes when you subscribe to the higher tier. Podbean and Libsyn also have programs in place to help you start making a profit. This is only one way to make money with your podcast and it involves reading ads from sponsors. This usually isn't very profitable for independent podcasters until they are getting thousands of downloads on every episode. There are other ways you can make money too. Pri Blinggz not necessarily. You can monetize with Anchor.fm for free. Not all of the hosting sites help with monetizing. Podbean and Simplecast do. In order to start monetizing you’ll need to have at least 1000 downloads per episode.
