Hi Howard, thanks a lot for your message. In SQE2, there are two formats to the assessments, these being Written and Oral. There are four oral exams and twelve written in total. You'll find that the oral exams will include tasks such as interviews, questioning and case-making. They may include use of a laptop, but assessment will be based on ability to deliver the oral skills as well as application of knowledge. Each of the written assessments can vary from both hand-written and electronically written assessments.
