I love your videos I’m 16 and I just rebuilt my forks on my yz 125 and did fine and when I get a job and start making money I’m gonna do what your doing, because it is like a hobby for me working on bikes.
You’re a great TH-cam you inspire me to take college courses for building dirt bikes and ATVs so then I can be like you and do TH-cam I love the work and I like you in the garage better not the desk lol
Hey Matt your work is awesome,i like the models you pick. Here in Greece one suzuki rm 125 2004 costs 2000€ and its hard to rebuild.Greetings, keep your good work!
I know this sounds crazy, but I wanna see how badass you can make one of these Chinese bikes everybody’s getting. I think it could help people learn to modify something cheap into something better. Or possibly worth more than they paid. Just a fun idea 🤩
Hey man, new to the channel and was wondering if you could make a video on what types of bikes to look for to flip (size, 2 or 4 stroke, age, etc) and also the best way to list them and the demographics to market them to. Im trying to get something similar setup and i have been working on my own bikes since i was 12 but just dont know a few aspects of the buying and selling part.
I really enjoy watching these bike flips, but I'm curious why you throw the old platics away? If it's about profit you could totally sell those on eBay, just a suggestion. But love these videos keep them up!
@@MattBerger02 I understand, well keep up the videos, I really enjoy your bike build videos! And maybe you could give me some advice on a problem I'm having with a buddies bike?
wondering if you noticed the blue hot spots on the crankshaft because i had a hotrods in my rm125 and it seized at 25.0 hours and came out looking all heated up there and those bearings had failed, i think its something that has to do with the jetting and being run lean under a certain condition
Yes! They are actually heat marks from the manufacturing and assembly process, completely normal. If they were any other color than blue, then you want to be worried.
I just found you channel today and have been binge watching all of your build videos and I happend to fond one that had been posted an hour ago lol. Love your content.
Dude, I love your videos!! Been waiting so long for a new video!!! I loved the bike build flip builds so much, I didn’t want this one to end hahah!! 🤘✌️
I just had a couple quick questions. When ur washing ur bikes with the seat and plastics off do u have that boot thing in instead of the air filter or do u leave it in. And what powder coat gun do u have
Most of the time I try to use a wash cover, or just shove a rag down in the air boot. I just try to avoid spraying directly into the airbox. And honestly it is my buddy's gun, so I'm not exactly sure! (I believe it is a less expensive model)
Okay I watch all your videos and I am getting into doing this myself, how do you sell so many in a year, did you get a dealership license, what state do you live in?
I am personally most comfortable with the Suzuki's, but I'd say they are all pretty much the same. Well, the 125 and 250 2-strokes at least. Once you get into working on the 4-strokes, things definitely get more challenging.
YES! Big RM fan pumped about another RM build! Can’t wait to see the final product. Is it time for a giveaway yet!? I need an RM done the right way by you.
Hmmm can't say that I have.... break out the angle grinder! lol. You will probably have to take the motor out of the frame to be able to get to the right spot.
A few different reasons: 1.) 4 strokes are more expensive to fix and the profit margins would be too slim 2.) 2 strokes are much easier to work on and take less time 3.) I love 2 strokes! This doesn't mean I will rule out 4 strokes, but they are just tough to flip. If I come across a great deal I'll do one!
How did you like this style of video? All feedback is appreciated!
Love it bro and I loved the other ways you’ve done them as well they’re very well done! Keep it up 👍🏼
The style was really good seems like you’ve made it even more professional with the edits
I see you have been using Pro-x piston and rings, I have an rm125 and i put a Wisco piston and rings in it. should i do a pro-x next top end?
Loved It! Cant wait for part 2!
Thank you guys!
I have been waiting so long for another bike build your the best and I’ve been so inspired to finally build a bike because of you

I've tried to before, but just isn't worth it for me. Shipping costs are killer and not worth keeping a bunch around until I can sell local

To increase value also sand down the black from the muffler I did that on my other 65 and I sold it for 50 dollars more

I know this is not an original video idea, but you should do a video on how you pick and buy a dirt bike.
Don't worry, it's in the lineup of future videos!
Really good!! Excited for the next one!

I was wondering what graphics you used for the 2005 rm125 cuz I have a 2004 125 RM and I am trying to make it nice
COR Moto. Email sales.cormoto@gmail.com and tell them Matt Berger sent you and let them know you want the RM 125 shroud kit!
Ok thank you
dude these vids are awesome keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
You might all ready now but those aluminum tabs you bent up your seat plastic tabs go underneath them to help hold the seat down
Yep! Most people just shove their seat back on and never get the tabs underneath and it bends the subframe tabs down
How much is the cost of a rebuild? Cant be cheap lol
That was AWESOME bro
Great vid man been waiting also for u think I should start flipping dirt bikes ?
Go for it!
I built a rm before they were cool! Now there all over the internet lol
They definitely took off!
You have worked on a lot of bikes which brand is the easiest to work on ??
I am personally most comfortable with the Suzuki's, but I'd say they are all pretty much the same. Well, the 125 and 250 2-strokes at least. Once you get into working on the 4-strokes, things definitely get more challenging.

I clean up the old plastics with WD-40 and a scotch bright pad and sell em for 70$

Can you make a snowmobile restoration? Pls
i dig it!

Why don’t u do 4strokes ?
A few different reasons:
1.) 4 strokes are more expensive to fix and the profit margins would be too slim
2.) 2 strokes are much easier to work on and take less time
3.) I love 2 strokes!
This doesn't mean I will rule out 4 strokes, but they are just tough to flip. If I come across a great deal I'll do one!

Wow, thanks!
I’m thinking about buying and selling bikes but I’m not sure can u give me some advice?
Go for it! Best way to learn is by experience! I will be making some more "how to" videos on this specifically though!
Why you don't buy enduro dirt bikes ? Congrats from Portugal
Just harder/more expensive to find!
