    There are so many options for applying finish to your woodworking projects, let me share my setup so you can have what I think is the best finishing setup for your workshop. This will be a comprehensive guide to the best spray finishing setup for you. My finishing system is built around a Fuji Spray Systems Q5 platinum on a rolling Harbor Freight tools box in a flashy (almost) DIYTyler orange. Being on a rolling cart is very handy as I do not have a permanent spray location and this allows me to roll out to where I need to finish my projects and get right to work.

    That little flip of the toilet paper is something I do literally every time my wife puts it the wrong way…if I could give this video 2 likes for that alone, I would. Beautiful cabinet as well.

      Sorry, but you guys are all wrong! TP should roll off the back. Only hotels that do some kind of fancy presentation fold have a valid reason for

      (Cont'd - - it is much easier to do a one- handed tear when you can press your wrist on the top of the roll and rip the paper off cleanly.

    When putting freshly sprayed pieces on a drying rack, it's best to load from the top down. That way if you shake any dust loose it doesn't fall on the piece below it because if loaded correctly there won't be a piece below it.
    Great project and well filmed!

    Hey Tyler very helpful seeing your spray setup a little more up close. Do you have a go-to setting/setup for spraying furniture/cabinet paints through the Q5? Paint brand, tip sizes, dilution levels etc? Thanks man, always entertaining and helpful videos. 🎯

    Maybe I missed it but what hinges did you use? I noticed the hinge cups drilled in the doors but didn't see the actual hinges. Looks great though!

    • @DIYTyler
      @DIYTyler  ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually didn't like this brand of hinge I used. Would recommend BLUM for this, frameless 110 degree is what I used.

    A differing comment about the toilet paper roll orientation. You obviously own a cat, but guess he hasn’t discovered the joys of rolling an entire roll of paper onto the floor. 😂. My wife’s cat loves to do this. We have to keep the flap against the back.

      Sorry, forgot to say. Cabinet is beautiful. Glass door panel is a nice touch. And,,, the Fuji finish is excellent.

    My experience with pocket screws is they hold less and less as life goes on. I have kitchen chairs that I've fixed 3 times now trying to make them hold.

    • @DIYTyler
      @DIYTyler  ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually the glue is the strongest part of that joint, screws just let the glue setup.

    • @cityguyusa
      @cityguyusa ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DIYTyler I did use yellow glue should I be usimg CA? Would that hold better? It's such small joint, very thin rails going into decent legs. The rail going into the leg is less than the width of Sharpie maybe about the width of your pinky. It's a square rail but they rounded the ends that are maybe 1/2" long. They would of held better if they'd left them square but they'd have had to motise rather than drill. If you have any suggestions to tighten them up. Stopping the rolling would help them hold better.

    The 'Space' isn't behind the toilet, it's above the toilet. Almost every bathroom across the country has a cabinet attached to the wall there.
