My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ TH-cam. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of TH-cam I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on TH-cam won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

My brother: John Lennon was the founding member of The Beatles. And if you say you've never heard of them before, I'm changing the channel in a hurry. The Beatles are the greatest musical act of all time. They not only changed music, they changed history.
The Beatles have sold more records than anybody in music history. By a BIG margin. They have sold over 1.3 billion records.

Let me tell you this my friend: You've got plenty to catch up onto. John Lennon was a member of the Beatles and pls don't say you never heard of them. The group of 4 split in 1970 & each had a career of his own. The other 3 were Paul MacCartney, George Harrisson & Ringo Starr (ex-drummer). John was shot in early 80's while George died of cancer much later. 2 John Lennon songs I would recommend: "Instant Karma" and "Give peace a chance".

Yes John Lennon was one in a million. He was one of the founding members of The Beatles who are arguably the greatest music group of all time. This song has such a wonderful and yet controversial message to it. Really pay attention to the lyrics. You will understand why this song will forever stand the test of time.

It's especially interesting, considering that there were no US armed conflicts going on in 1980, when Lennon was shot by the deranged Mark David Chapman. So I'm not sure exactly what John Lennon would have been doing protesting a non-existent war. And especially because he had just finished recording and releasing his album, Double Fantasy, very shortly before his death. Even on the day of the murder he was in the a recording studio.

You've definitely been living under a rock. I have been watching your vids for a little over an hour now and you don't seem to know any of the most famous, iconic groups and artists of all time. I'm happy to see you exploring everything you have missed by previously locking yourself into one genre. Look up some of the artists you like, their stories will amaze you and turn you into a real music lover.

I agree that every person has value, but I do not support John Lennon's naive utopian interpretation (tribute) of communism. Song's message is Anti God, Anti Religion, Anti Society and Anti Family. These messages couched in flowery phrases within an enchanted melody. "Propaganda" at its' very best! Idealology that this song disavows is exactly the beliefs and behaviors that will positively effect the manner in which we engage with others.
Amazing that whole generations of people have never heard of John Lennon, the most famous member of the most famous band ever. And this is the most iconic song of the most iconic musician singer ever... still means you got a lot of great music to catch up on...

My uncle once told me it was his favorite song. At his funeral I played and sang it. The response was amazing. So many people never heard this song. I am blessed to share it with everyone.

Lennon is one of the greats, and it's great that you appreciate the subtleties of his performance, but I think the most important part of this song is the message. It's probably one of the most beautiful songs ever written.
This is one of those songs that you shouldn't just get lost in the sound, but you should listen to the lyrics. His message when they came out with the song was profound, and is still relevant to this day.

John Lennon was a founding member of The Beatles, a Band that has inspired countless musicians.... Even Kurt Cobain of Nirvana is quoted as saying the Beatles were his favorite band.
Personally, I've never really cared for most of the solo music the members of The Beatles made after the band broke up. But I will forever remain a Beatles fan!

John Lennon is my favorite singer/song writer and the Beatles are my favorite band. I'm subscribing after seeing you do this reaction. He has a very smooth voice but he is actually a rock and roller.

It seems like they've been stripped of any base or mids whatsoever. I'm not sure how you would setup your equipment, but I know a lot of people doing react videos have figured it out. Your reaction is the best advertisement for doing research on someone before you do a reaction. I understand that you are young and you may not necessarily be familiar with John Lennon or the Beatles. But just a brief google search for a bit of info wouldn't have taken away from your very first time hearing a song by them. John was a really good singer, but this song is ALL about the lyrics are what John was saying in them. Peace to you!

John Lennon was one of the 4 founding members of the Beatles. Probably one of the most influential bands ever. On Dec. 8, 1980 John Lennon, who espoused peace, was shot to death. I was 11 years old and I will never forget it. The Beatles maybe had a sound but it continued to evolved over time. There first songs didn't resemble their later songs at all but you knew it was the Beatles. Keep exposing yourself to all of our wonderful history of music!
YES!!! John Lennon was asking us to imagine a place where things that divide people did not exist. The song covers the violence issue we have in this world. We are surrounded by hate, cruelty, murder, war and racism. The world that he sings about tells us how we should want the world to be.
