Super clear - you covered more in 8 minutes than I've seen in 30min+ tutorials, without bogging it down with more technicalities than necessary. Excellent work!
these are my favorite tutorials. good mic, straight forward, normal listenable music. why is it so hard for some people to understand this is all you need?
I rarely watch anything but tutorials, documentaries, or nature /animal videos, and I would rate this tutorial in the top 3 I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing.
Love it when videos don't waste time and just get straight to the point. Every other video just tells me why I would want smoke, like I know what I want just tell me how
is amazing, I just discovered your art and your channel , love bloodborne, love your work and thaks for showing the process, please, do more o these, I learned a lot
God damn, everything about this video hella dope, I could understand even tho I don’t make 3D stuff, have to say you super inspiring! Keep up the good work!
Imma blow your mind with something. So in the settings of the material for volume, you can change the interpolation to cubic which gives you these nice smoothness to it. I highly recommend this if you cannot afford going 256.
Thank you. What if I don't see the smoke appear when I bake it and when I don't bake it. The cache was on "replay" (also used "modular") and "is resumable". What did I do wrong?
Um, everything aside, I am often more surprised by how you guys render out so high quality images and animations. Can you make a video on how you do that? Maybe you tweak with the denoiser? Or someother settings like resolution and all? Or it is some aftereffects magic?? Like those details in there are impressive to say the least.
Thank you for the tutorial! I am finding the part at 6:12 a bit hard as I am a blender beginner. Though our color ramp only has blue values, how does the smoke turn green in some parts when we plug that into color? And what does the volume info node do here? Does it make the denser bits of the smoke darker or something??
How are you getting the playback to be so smooth? My smoke simulation is only playing back at 5 fps even after baking. Baked to an SSD too so isn't drive speeds slowing it down.

A 'smoking' title right there. It took me a few moments to read it like it's supposed to.
Really cool tutotial and great result at the end. Thank you for that ! :)

This is so good! Wish I saw this before buying a useless VDB smoke file from Blendermarket!

Awesome!
Awesome video! Love bloodborne too :)
i just see a cube in the render. how do i fix that?
Amazing work
Just found your channel and... please, moar! It was simple and exactly what I wanted to try.
My smokes are coming out like a blob type thing, not a defined shape, even with the settings you used, what do i do?
I got everything down but when I render in eevee it’s just a cube, and when I do cycles it’s just my object not the smoke. How can I fix this ?

amazing!
If you use this effect on a model, than you export it to use it on unity/Ue/vrchat ecc... The effect will still remain?
Very well explained. Thanks
this looks amazing please show us the full process :)
