Hi everyone! Here's my drawing of a Rabbit! I've finally worked on another tutorial video! I really hope it helps out in some way. I would like to work on more videos like this soon, so be sure to let me know if you have any tutorial video ideas you'd like to see me try. And be sure to let me know what you think of this drawing too. Thank you so much for the continued amazing support! It means a lot. Hope you're having an awesome week! :) -Chris
LethalChris Drawing this is beautiful and so inspiring! I have the same HB pencil but it never seems as dark as yours?!!! Thank you for sharing and for the great tips 😊
It would be super cool if you could do a video of your planning process for your larger pieces. I'm always so impressed by the level of detail you put into your pieces and how you fit everything so well into a page. Especially on your fantasy art pieces.
Its insane how detailed your method of drawing fur lends to itself. And its not an overly difficult method. I'd like to see you draw a picture of a German Shepherd. I'd like to see you handle the fun in something like that.
My guy, your art is off the charts. I love how realistic you draw. I watch other arty TH-camrs like Jazza or MarkCrilley and while their both amazing artists, neither are amazing at doing realism as you are. I applauded yo my good sir!
I really admire your talent, you're an inspiration. I love how you did the fur, I think that's the most difficult part. I will try this someday, that's for sure.
You just keep amazing us with your incredible skill and gentle demeanor. I always learn something new from watching your videos and enjoy the amazing range of subjects you cover. I would love to see more of this sort of nature study from you. Like you, I find them incredibly relax to draw with the end result often being somewhat of a surprise once you stand back and look. Thanks again for sharing and keep it up.
Watched a lot of how to draw fur videos all your videos on fur just click and made more sense to me than any others! I don’t have a good sharp eraser right now so everything besides the highlights is looking good. Thank you!
I just drew my first ever zombie rabbit! Well it kind of turned out like yours but not quite as peaceful looking. Thank you so much for posting this, it really did help and I will keep on practicing my rabbits and hopefully they won't look like zombies for long!
I love your drawings. It would be helpful if you showed a "super slow motion" to demonstrate each of your instruments; one stroke with pencil, blending stick, eraser to show how you achieve each of your effects. Cheers!
I really enjoy your videos and I find them really helpful! Would you be able to in the future right somewhere how long it took you to complete the whole drawing?
It looks like he is purposefully holding his hand above the paper to not accidentally smudge it. For my drawings, I try to work from left to right so that my hand can rest on the paper that hasn't been drawn yet. (right to left if you are left handed)
Amazing drawing... Your little rabbit is so cute♡ Yes, please, could you do more animals drawing like this one? And maybe something special for Valentines Day? Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us...
I enjoy watching you create. I wonder if u could periodically slowdown the speed. May be when doing the eye, or perhaps a few seconds while u r adding details to the fur and such. Amazing work Thanx R
Patience is key. These kinds of drawings take a while and you should never rush them. Don't feel the need to finish it in one go. Rather take more sessions than rush through it. :)
Hi, I really enjoy your drawings...my question is how you get the dark parts so dark with a mechanical pencil with HB leads, and even the 6B, if I use those on smooth Bristol paper, it never gets that dark. Is it the camera that makes it look darker? Or am I missing something?
Wow, LethalChris, I love your rabbit portrait. It would be neat to see you do a badger or a zebra next. Your attention to detail and grasp of shading, gradient, edges and values in your work are superb. So beautiful both technically and on an emotional/artistic level.
Absolutely fantastic. Loves this. I have and can draw people but i forget i am drawing an animal at times and mess it up. Watching you have been a great help. Could you do a horse? Pencils, graphite or coloured are my favorite. I struggle with coloured pencils though.
That are great tips to draw fur. I always got problem with this, but I will try it again with your tips. I never had the idea with such eraser...Thank you for sharing.🐰🐰🐰
You are so amazing your art always inspires me and you help me a lot Thank you! I really don’t know why you don’t get a lot of views , you are awesome!
Hi Chris, Just found your Chanel:) Love your rabbit drawings😀 My father is a artist he is now in his eighties, and his hands are to shaky to paint or draw, he used to paint wildlife, sea paintings. I have been doing every craft there is lately:) Love to start wild life pictures. Thank you for sharing Kim
I think I will have a go at this sometime. Wonderful video. I really like the way you talk through the video. Many artists just add music. We just lost 6 pet bunny rabbits to a nasty virus. Very sad indeed, especially for my poor daughter. This drawing is amazing. You are indeed a fantastic artist, how I wished I could draw like you. If I draw this, I will create a video and show you it. Could you do a bee and butterfly drawing? I make my own Japanese Knotweed paper and want to create a masterpiece on this paper to show it is worthy of investigating to create jobs by making JK paper on an industrial level.
Hey Chris, love the vid and adorable rabbit, I've been trying to recreate this texture similarly with water colours but have been having a few issues. Wondering if you could offer any advice
Perfect timing. I have just started a project drawing my daughter and her Blue Flemish Giant. Blue fur photographs so dark this helps with some of the smaller details I need to add. Any tips for working with dark fur like this?
I loved your video. besides the breath taking talent you clearly have your soothing voice, it was soooo relaxing to watch you create. Thank you very much for sharing your ideas and techniques. I could watch you all day :) Loren Melbourne Australia
Utterly sublime. Any advice n doing blue / grey human eyes in acrylic? I’m having a real problem, just ending up with chromatic grey! Many thanks for all your videos. Great inspiration.
ok so chris i want to ask a question can you give me and uninspired artists i got some cheep markers to start me off building up to copic but i just dont know what to do i want to make my own art im interested in the comic style but i dont know haw to start a drawing without messing up hope i here back from you
Hi! It's awesome that you've picked up some markers. :) When I started drawing with markers I found it fun to work on fan art featuring some of my favourite characters from video games and movies. Sketching the idea with a pencil first. Then I like to use a multiliner with an extremely fine tip so that I have lots of control over the line work. Then I'll add the markers on top. Markers can be difficult to get used to at first. It took me a while to feel more comfortable with the process, but I recommend to keep practising. Maybe try some small ideas and doodles, to see how the markers work and how they blend with different art supplies like multiliners and pencils. Any drawing, even random doodling, will help to develop your ability with them over time. Wishing you all the best with your artwork.
@@LethalChris1 thank you I've been going at some pictures I just made the opposite of touka from Tokyo ghoul and it's one of the only drawings that I have done in a while lol. My dad is supporting me and he is challenging me to make a drawing every week and he will put it in a frame on the wall in the back room you have really helped and I am so happy that you took the time to reply and inspire me with some ideas and inspiring word
Hey Chris, super cool piece and love the technique for the fur! Question also, how do you dealt with wrist strain after drawing for long periods? Thanks!
Hi! Thank you for the support. :) For most of my drawings I take a lot of breaks. Especially if they're complicated and end up taking up to 20 hours, I'll break the process down over 2 or 3 days. The breaks can help the drawing too, because you go back to it with fresh eyes and you might approach the process differently. And it definitely stops there being too much strain.
When you draw the eye and Darken it, are you using a different Mechanical pencil that is not HB lead? its very dark, I cant seem to achieve the same level of darkness, but I have also been using Sketch paper rather than smooth Bristol board, thanks
This was a great video Chris. As a long time subscriber, I can say that your videos have definitely improved and that this is one of your better videos. Keep up the good work.
What a beautiful drawing! I really, really like it a lot! Could you draw a cat sometime in the future? I really like how you show all kind of different techniques on your channel. It really inspires me. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
Absolutely amazing result but again the video was speeded up so much that the actual technique for achieving the effect is completely lost. Perhaps slow bits down to real time for one example of each technique, eg pencil, shading, highlighting etc. Thanks again for sharing.

Great video. I especially learned a lot re: use of the eraser and the beautiful way you did the eye. Thank you!
How do u not smudge the pencil with your hand ?
It looks like he is purposefully holding his hand above the paper to not accidentally smudge it. For my drawings, I try to work from left to right so that my hand can rest on the paper that hasn't been drawn yet. (right to left if you are left handed)
You could also rip off a piece of paper and place it under your hand. This will help a lot with smudging.
U inspired me a lot man thank you for coming back we had mixed u a lot thanks
