Well let me be the different one, I like it, the tech like the Harley app that shows you range and fuel level on your phone, cruise control, navigation, available heated grips, the power will smoke any other Harley feom the factory. I would worry about the tech glitches even if its been out a few years now.
I’m with you on this one. I would by one of the new Indian scouts way before this bike. The performance is there and the tech is a step forward. Those are the positives. I hear that RevMax is a ripper, but they totally missed the ball on so many aspects of the looks.
agree with a lot of coments here ,but it has grown on me. Hopefully the bugs are worked out. All Harleys get modified as soon as they're out the door, so the S is no different with the tail hugger and exhaust turfed asap.
Actually had one for a short while. VERY fast, very hard seat, metric controls. The stability management system takes some getting used to, especially when practicing slow-speed drills. While in the saddle, you get the impression you're about to fall forward onto the pavement. However, I do appreciate the innovation, smooth power, and Motor trying to move in a new direction.
"For a short while". That seems to be a common theme for owners of these things as I see many of them for sale on Kijiji with very low mileage on them.
I agree. I rode one back in May wasn’t impressed… It seems it’s caught between worlds. I used to ride sport bikes now I’m on a Dyna. It’s peppy but nah not for me either. Like riding a sawhorse haha that’s the perfect analogy.
I am also a Fatboy owner. I prefer old school traditional HD styling as well but I test rode the Sportster S at Daytona. I was completely blown away by the performance of it. Not sure if you really tested this thing to some of it's limits. My Fatboy is 120hp 125 tq and I am telling you it doesn't touch what that bike can do. It is an absolute rocket ship. I feel it would have even given my Ducat 848 a run for it's money. If you roll this thing out to redline, you will be holding on for dear life. It has a totally linear torque that never stops pulling. Is it what I would consider a Harley. No. But I might be some young kids version of one. For me, the performance overides some of it's other short comings. That being said, Harley must get rid of their Woke CEO and board of directors before they kill the brand. Little O
It’s definitely got the performance. Just not the looks, comfort, or sound for me. We’ll see what happens with their ceo. A German environmentalist running Harley 🙄
I was at a demo ride last Saturday and rode one . Worst riding position ever and power for days as for the sound , bad enough to change the cool looking exhaust. Also rode the nighster with better riding position but still not for me . The low rider s on the other hand , noting but love except for the price tag . Found myself fortunate to ride back home on my 2021 Moto Guzzy v7 special. Ride safe
We can always go over to the Sport Bike maker and buy one there. I want a Harley not a Sport Bike. ‘ But it has 160 million horsepower.’ I don’t care. ‘It can go from 0 to 100 in one second.’ I don’t care.
I used have the sporter s 2022 I only problem we the bike. 2 time die on me in the high way going 70. I change for the low rider s 2023. One of One Decisions

The tech is for sure a step forward and the performance is there. That still can’t get me over how awful this thing looks.
@@mickeygaines007 I don't blame you, it's very different from most bikes
The performance is there, but the comfort and styling just don’t do it for me.

Yep. It’s pretty speedy but the styling is terrible.
Love to drive this motorcycle keep safe done sub my friend
Thanks boss 👍

I haven’t seen too many modified Sportsters. At least, not around here.

They just need to get the styling down.

i would like to see this bike with the exhaust like a stock sportster who knows it may start to sell !!! all the best from the UK
Nice to hear from folks across the pond. 👍

It really is like a sawhorse isn’t it? Haha!

@@canadiansa1nt309 Yea, What could go wrong?
nice review . Thanks. Can you pls do review of Electric glide Police version?
If I could get one I would.
I actually don’t mind the looks. I love the idea of 120 hp on that frame but would prefer the pegs set back for a sportier / standard stance.
I would agree with the pegs.

It's a little too 'metric' for my liking. Took one for a test ride in Medicine Hat. Was not impressed. I agree with your analysis 100%
It’s definitely different, that’s for sure.

I would agree with that 👍
I wish they had used the engine platform from the actual VROD that REVO engine sounds too much like an ATV but more of an moped
It’s different, that’s for sure.
I'll take the Indian scout 101 2025 anyday.
I can’t say I blame anyone for choosing something different.
I used have the sporter s 2022 I only problem we the bike. 2 time die on me in the high way going 70. I change for the low rider s 2023. One of One Decisions
The Low Rider should be better.
The seat makes me wanna cry Ouch! It looks like it is painted on.
It’s not much of a seat, and not very comfy.
Don’t mind the looks….but… the sound….is so disappointing
Actually the looks on the left side are so bad… it’s off putting
The exhaust was interesting. Definitely not your Harley sound. And much louder than your regular stock exhaust.
Not very appealing just looks odd especially that brake/tail light setup.
Agreed 👍
Harley made a huge mistake axing the real sportster and adding two bikes no one wants - sportster s and Nightster.
You may be right
That fell out of the ugly tree and broke every branch. No thx.
Agreed 👍
"Yuck". I think that sums it up pretty well. That thing hit every branch on the ugly tree on its way down. 🤮
Agreed 👍
👍🏻🇨🇦
the bike needs a make over nobody is buying it
Nobody I know is buying it, that’s for sure.
Not a pleasant looking bike
I agree with that.
I would buy Harley's ugly Pan America before that bike. At least you can have more fun and comfort on a ugly Pan America. That is my opinion.
I would agree they’re both ugly. I didn’t find the Pan America much more comfortable though. But that’s just me.
Guess Harley are just keeping up with the competition but for me plain ugly. Afraid I'm old school too. Cheers from down under 🇦🇺 Stan.
Good to hear from the folks down under. 👍
The new generation of “Soft” boys will probably like the bike though. It sure if effin ugly from the drive belt side too
I would agree with that.
Compete against the Indian scout....Now way.
Never tried one of those.
it's pretty obvious that HD is looking to create new markets with this bike. it's not what the typical harley rider is looking for in a bike.
You got that right
Not a bike for out of shape Harley-Davidson riders.
Got that right.
