Im in the market for the MPC One plus. Im gonna connect my Korg to it and i pretty much have unlimited sounds whn combined and modified.
Is there anyway for scale highlighting like in fl studio? Meaning when you switch instruments on the grid you can still see the “ghost” notes of what you already have laid down? Hopefully you know what I’m talking about. Thanks for all the great vids
Love the 3.0. Everything I was looking for. Just curious if the recorded sequences will be locked to the arrangement. When you edit them, will the update in arranger? Or do you have the option to unlink them?
Regardless what you go with, one should choose whatever allows them to execute their creativity best. I’ve never used and iPad to make beats with but definitely not something that I would feel inspired to make music with, but like I said everybody has a different source of inspiration so if an iPad Spark inspiration that should be the weapon of choice.
Please make a vid about the changes in song mode for those of us that use the mute method.. saw that bolo mentioned there's no more muting in song mode.. thinking of not upgrading just for that ask akai to bring it back
I’m gonna miss programs. With programs, it was great being able to load up a few different programs and switch between them while playing the sequence to see which one works best for the song. Also, duplicating a program and having different fx on it to be used in a different sequence or layered in the same sequence. Is that still possible in 3.0?
Dude, I’m so glad you mentioned this and I will make a video specifically on this topic but I feel like this is what’s going to make this three-point or even better being able to duplicate your tracks to add variations. I will dive into this, but believe me that it’s for the better.
ok, I see that programs ae no longer used and needed with the new format, but am I allowed to use the many drum programs I've used over the years with 3.0?
@@allpositivenetwork absolutely, just create a brand new drum track and it will give you the option to load programs that you’ve already created or sample straight into that track

Like garage band dope
MALO....I WAS HOPING THAT YOU WOULD FEATURE THE LATEST PLUGIN ****SUB FACTORY *****,WE WOULD BE INTERESTED IN ITS POTENTIAL IF AKAI CAN ALLOW YOU TO DO SO.....THANKS FAMILIA
My Korg Kross 2 is awesome but its nothing close to this MPC with this new update. The Arranger or Sequencer is so much easier to use to switch up your beat and tones.
Im in the market for the MPC One plus.
Im gonna connect my Korg to it and i pretty much have unlimited sounds whn combined and modified.
Nice video. Do we still have mute groups on the new software or do we have to use the knobs for that?
WHY IS THE MPC 37 KEY ON YOUR FLOOR🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣also show us some production on the MPC X… I DIG YOUR VIDEOS ON MUSIC PRODUCTION PLEASE KEEP IT UP 👌🏾
@akaipro you got the right guy for the job.
I seeing people say the MpC is just an iPad with pads now. 🤔 I like it.
Please make a vid about the changes in song mode for those of us that use the mute method.. saw that bolo mentioned there's no more muting in song mode.. thinking of not upgrading just for that ask akai to bring it back
This is much better we can now make an entire track easily
@@malobeats omg. Thank you!! I was becoming concerned. Looks like I will be updating after all when it’s available. Great vid.
Yes, you can still use programs.
Thanks for sharing! Can you bring in older projects from different versions into 3?
Yes you can. I been remixing most of my old tracks since this update
@@malobeats Now thats good news! Thank you!
Great Demo of this new software. I have the MPC x and I’ve been trying to figure out how to import legacy projects from my 5000 and 2000xl into 2.0 software to no avail. COULD YOU INFORM ME HOW TO IMPORT LEGACY PROJECTS FROM ALL PREVIOUS VERSIONS, INTO MPC 3?? My old projects are saved on IOMEGA ZIP DISKS.
thank you in advance, All the Best to you.
is ti that easy to record the chops in from a sample? is ti automatic like you showed??
when u change the pitch of the sample on the global why does my timing of the chops change as well?
