Hey Malo! Thanks for sharing. As a reggae hip-hop nutty that just sounds sweet to me.. I would advise you to listen to Lee Perry "Disco Devil" on the same instrumental as the Max Romeo.. Some gorgeous vocal to add to your session. Take care
Thanks for this vid. It's great to see you again. Nice beats. I've tried stem separation for isolating voices with standalone and Software MPC, and it gives good or less good results depend on the initial song. But I was savedlike you with effect and other instrument in the mix. Take Care.
@@prod.IvanDolor yeah man you’re not the only one there’s a few people that are still holding up. I will say that it’s worked great for me, but I have had a few crashes with his beta version so hopefully they’re able to sort it out by the time is fully launched.

Hey Malo whats the best way to put stem seperation on a sample you already have chopped up? So that you can remove elements from certain chops but keep in others..
Great video brother! I have a question tho, can you please tell me why every sample or drumbreak that I put into mpc, says that it is 20bpm?? It seems that auto detection doesnt work properly but Idk why :/
Too similar to the original composition sounds like same progression, bass, bubble skanks etc only drums changed and vocals edited. Which is sometimes fine on an obscure sample but not for one of the most recognised reggae songs in history. Also would make clearance neigh impossible (espeically for anyone paying attention to the steelie and cleevie case) Malo is more than capable of flipping something into somehing new, dope and unrecognisable as well as finding rare samples. So for me this wasnt it. I hope i dont sound like a hater i been watching for years for the resson i mentioned. Malo is more than capable of dope flips and has been doing so consistently 🎉
Check FlexiSpot C7 ergonomic chair at bit.ly/3YKDBeB and use my code ''24BFC7'' to get $50 off on the C7 ergonomic chair
I can't wait for them to implement real-time timestretch 🙏🏽
Would make things so much easier

@@IYamChas thank you so much, brother. It really means a lot.
7:01 air flavor pro covers a lot of the stem artifacts
@@nostradukemas this is awesome thank you for this share 🫡. Ima test this out
What preset/settings do you use?
@@DadAmongMen also interested. Might have to give it a try.
@ nothing in particular. I just find that as I use AFP to massage a sample into how I want it to sound, the artifacting tends to fade away
Very VERY Dope my Brother!!!🙏🏾✊🏾💚
Great creative work Malo! Thanks for continuing to make your videos and help us Newbies through the process 🙏

Kayne sampled vocal chops from this song to make Jay Z's blasphemous "Lucifer" track.
That beat on the background of that chair ad sounds fire 🔥 lets hear it!
Good to see you back @Malo, nice flip by the way 🔥🔥🔥🫡

Mutiband compression helps with stem artifact’s with helping it fit it properly in your mix.

I still havent updated my mpc x se, I'm worried that ill instantly become terrible at making beats lol. This made me feel a lot better about it though

As soon as the sample played all I heard was Jay-Z - Lucifer, it's dope sample
Them reggae songs got great groove. I chopped up a reggae song not that long ago and it came out dope
It's prolly not your genre Malo, but please do give a listen to "The Prodigy - Out Of Space"...
