Village 2023 - Train Track Work, Electrical and a Disaster

- Had big plans for today, was going to get a lot done! Managed to lay the train track bed, wire the lanterns and train signals onto the lower level. But the day ended abruptly with a Train Crash! Starting to think this Village is doomed...!

You are having quite the time setting up this year. It is always a labor of love when we do our villages. Train or no train, your village will be just as great as previous years. Thanks for your tutorials.

You poor thing. I find my trains like to keep me on my toes too. I have a Hornby Santa Express (plug in) and a Lemax one with the spinning reindeer (battery). Both of them are temperamental, but I love them so persevere.
I hope you get a resolution with your train because as you already know I love your tunnel entrance. It needs a train!! And the signals set it off perfectly. Enjoy your break and your friends wedding.

Oh no not your train. We have one of those we will keep an eye on it. Hopefully you can get a replacement. Hopefully the rest of the build will go without a hitch.

Yes, it was quite a shock! I've had the same train before, and replaced them because I simply wore them out. Never had this kind of issue before. So if your train gets hot, you'll know something is wrong. Enjoy your summer Christmas!!

Sounds like your project is still on track, despite the train disaster. If things really go off the rails, just cover your tracks and nobody will be the wiser. I'm sure it will look wonderful either way.
I gave up on the 🚂. Parked it in front on the station. Set up the 🚎 instead! We do what we have to, right? 😏

Love those train signals. I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with your train. My first thought was a faulty battery. We'll be here when you post another video. Enjoy the wedding.
Turns out the problem was the batteries. They were "overcharged". One good thing will be coming out of it. I'm buying a household fire extinguisher. Never even occurred to me before!
Were the batteries rechargeable or disposable? I didn't they could be overcharged. @@TheasChristmasVillages
