I love the dark/doomy horror vibe to this, those eerie chords in the background. The video fits so well, that shot of her crawling when the "chorus" comes in is so unsettling. This leading into Jaded is wild, adds so much to the EP.
As soon as it came out I noticed that all three songs flow and transition together!! Cellar door transitions into jaded and jaded transitions into void! I love it so much
It really shows their versatility and...I'm a big metalcore (and deathcore )fan but bands like this who can have that kind of range and do it well and/or add some uniqueness they do typically rise above the rest for me. I mean this sounds like some female Bodysnatcher. Like mild deathcore. I love it. Edit: I'm getting Ryo type of vibes too who was featured on Holy Roller.

Dude, why is everyone going "wow they're heavy again"? The Void and Jaded might not have been super heavy, but hysteria on the Rotoscope EP was, and Eternal Blue I several heavy songs. If we're making it sound like they did an entire album that sounds like Constance.

This song reminds me heavily of their song Belcarra, absolutely face melting, and the dissonance and ambience add so much to the track. It just feels dark and heavy
That’s a really good point about the transitions. It definitely feels like this is a lot more album-focused rather than single-chasing. I also really like that they’re not sticking to 3 minute pop structures…think this is their longest song since the ST.
