I love the dark/doomy horror vibe to this, those eerie chords in the background. The video fits so well, that shot of her crawling when the "chorus" comes in is so unsettling. This leading into Jaded is wild, adds so much to the EP.
This one floored me when I heard it. Brutal start, brutal chorus, and somehow even more brutal and dark breakdown. We get 3 COURTNEYS too? I personally like it better than holy roller. What a time to be alive 🤙

As soon as it came out I noticed that all three songs flow and transition together!! Cellar door transitions into jaded and jaded transitions into void! I love it so much

The Void and Jaded might not have been super heavy, but hysteria on the Rotoscope EP was, and Eternal Blue I several heavy songs. If we're making it sound like they did an entire album that sounds like Constance.

This is one of the few songs that has givin me insane goosebumps.
I was not expecting such a single after the last ones, but oh my god that was good! I litteraly couldn't say a word during these 4 : 44 minutes, just laughed nervously at these ridiculous riffs & screams
It really shows their versatility and...I'm a big metalcore (and deathcore )fan but bands like this who can have that kind of range and do it well and/or add some uniqueness they do typically rise above the rest for me. I mean this sounds like some female Bodysnatcher. Like mild deathcore. I love it. Edit: I'm getting Ryo type of vibes too who was featured on Holy Roller.
Man this song and video hits harder after every watch and listen. It feels like they were bringing in stuff from all of the EPs and album. 3 Courtney's for the win!

That’s a really good point about the transitions. It definitely feels like this is a lot more album-focused rather than single-chasing. I also really like that they’re not sticking to 3 minute pop structures…think this is their longest song since the ST.

This song kinda got me off guard, because I got used to the clean "choruses" (I'm sorry for my English is not that good). But overall I liked this song a lot.
I thought you were going to mention a bit more the rithm Mike was doing with the guitar at the actual "breakdown" (3:10 app.).

This song reminds me heavily of their song Belcarra, absolutely face melting, and the dissonance and ambience add so much to the track. It just feels dark and heavy

I was definitely getting OLD Vildhjarta, kadinja, uneven structure, and Fellsilent. The OG dark djent ambient clean tone. Loved that Mike made it obvious he knows it.
Aw mate, another person who knows who Fell Silent are!! We are a rare breed. Miss them so much, they were incredible. I can only imagine how crushing they would be nowadays with modern production. I mean, imagine their song writing with someone like Buster producing them. It would be glorious 😢
