    This is so genius. I'm going to try and figure out a way to do this with pen style machines. This really could revolutionize the way tattooers practice tattooing

      I agree!
      I fee this can help so many people across the world. Not only do I feel like it can help people , I feel like we can make cool pieces of artwork using something like this. I would live for this to exist in cartridge form. I have thought about this being compatible with pen style tattoo machines.
      It also really is a lot of fun just using.

    Ive seen this on ig, but isnt the pen plus the needle tube rather heavy? this is definitely a solid way to practice even pull some cool drawings

    • @DanielYuck
      @DanielYuck  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is a great observation!
      From my experience using this setup, the pen tube and the bar from the needle are not too heavy, but I am not certain if every machine would be able to push this specific pen bar.
      I feel it is a great way to practice in general. Some may see it as silly, pointless, and maybe even a waste of time. From my experience this exercise can only help us in the long run and potentially speed up our development.

    Can I do this with any machine or do I have to do this with a rotary only? I have only one rotary and I’m not gonna rip my xion apart for that. But I have a crap ton of old coil machines.

      That is a great question!
      It is hard to say and for many reasons I feel. Everyone is different is what comes to mind. What that means and what I am saying by saying that is that we all have different ways to do things, some have better hygienic practices, better cross contamination practices, etc. So it is hard to give a direct answer.
      What I will say is let's say I am in the middle of doing a tattoo in fake skin but I got hungry. I will get a rise cup and put alcohol at the base of the cup enough to submerge the needle tip. I will go to lunch and come back and continue my practice tattoo. To me this makes more sense over breaking down and setting back up. I am also confident in my cross contamination practices and how I conduct myself upon tattooing human skin. I know that sparing a practice needles life a bit longer won't have any impact on my actual tattooing practices. This is why I say is it hard to give a direct answer.
      I hope this helps in some way shape or form.

    • @justinspier3838
      @justinspier3838 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maby try differnt types of shading like maby practice whip shading stippling etc and sometimes it helps me to have a reference to see where the shadong should lie i also try and contrast the dark spots by putting them directly against the lighter spots but of coure it depends on the subject matter
