Just started my tattoo journey, and this video helped me to get over the fear of just picking up a tattoo machine and training on fake skin. Thank you so much for the content. Keep up with good work !
wooouh this means so much to me, truly thank you for being here and hopefully we can keep each other company in this journey, you got this , sending you hugs and good energy ✨️

Thank you so much for this insightful video! Not only is it a great introduction into tattooing fake skins, but we have basically the same setup in terms of the ipad, machine, etc.! I will take notes like a university student & try to build good habits on your experiences. Once again, thank you so much!!
Agh I can already imagine what a life saver can be, so much better designs and time saving hopefully I can get one soon. Thank you so much for watching and being here ✨️🫠

Hey First you have to enable it by searching guided access on your iPad settings and then you can start it whenever you need by triple pushing the power button 🙃
What is that stand you put your ipad in? Ive been considering taking the prospect of becoming a tattoo artist more seriously for a while now and this video was so helpful in many ways. Not only did it show off supplies, but it gave me an idea of how to get ideas (like random words or maybe even those 30 day challenge lists like inktober). Omg the guided access thing, i didn't know that! I love the ipad tips because i know a lot of artists use them specifically nowadays.
Heyyy ✨️ thank you so much for being here and watching my video. Super happy you find sharing my journey to learning tattooing helpful. The stand I am using for the iPad is the Sketchboard pro , I have all the links in the description box with also a code 'kalliopi' for 10% in case you want to use 🙃
It’s an iPad Pro and I activate the guided access that turns off the touch ability of the screen, being able to trace without moving the image underneath 🤍✨
My hands are sooo shaky too in the beginning, I get anxious super fast and my heart beats even faster, so I just give myself some time at first to relax and when I finally get into the flow I can be more stable 🧡 thank you for watching so much ✨️
no wayyy hahah keep going , I had a huge break so don't worry, everyone has his/her own timeliness learning new things just don't give up and you will be great ✨️ see you on the next one 🙃
Hey there, do you mean to be able to trace an image without it moving around? With an iPad you can activate guided access from the settings and then by triple pushing the power button when you are on your photo it will lock the whole screen while it is on so you can trace freely ✨️
I'm a beginner and I was wondering... Should I sterilize my tattoo machine as if I was tattooing real skin, if I exclusively work on fake skin for now ? I'm worried that fake skin might actually cross contaminate future clients if I'm not cleaning it correctly... Is just wiping it enough if I only tattoo fake skin?
Hey there, I am not a pro tattoo artist and still learning a lot but what I am doing is trying to follow each time the cleaning process like I would do if I was tattooing a real person so I get to practice hygiene and everything and build muscle memory while also making sure I keep my equipment clean. The only thing I am reusing since I am tattooing fake skin is the needles, I might keep the same needle for more than one session ✨ thank you for watching 🧡
Hey there, I have an iPad and I activate the guided access, after turning it on in the settings then every time I press the power button three times it will make the iPad go into the guided access mode that turns off the touch ability of the screen so I can lay my hand on and trace without moving 🧡
Hey there, I have all the links in the description box including discount codes that might help ✨️ all my main supplies are by dragonhawk , I have the mast Lancer ✨️ thank you for watching
Hey there, everything I bought online I have links in the description box like my equipment and the fake skin, everything else I got here from greece from a tattoo shop. On my next video I'll try to find similars to link for you guys. Have a great day and thank you for watching ✨️
Yes exactly, but it still is quite hard because after a point the stencil will pretty much stay forever on the fake skin or if you wipe to soon it will completely disappear, so I try to prepare my skin before hand by applying the stencil, then wiping most of it so I have a really faded version and then let it dry even through the night having as a result a really soft stencil that won't go anywhere ✨️ hope that helps but I am still testing out things ✨️ I'll keep you updated
Hey there, I used procreate, it's an app available only on the iPad but for the android tablets there are other free drawing apps like sketchbook and many more ✨️ thank you for watching
Hey I include all my equipment and supplies in the description box, till now I have used only dragonhawk mast catridges needles and a few from kwadron. Thank you for being here ✨️
Heyy ☺️ it’s the sketchboard pro , an amazing base to turn your iPad into a cintiq type of working experience and have all the space you need for your hands. Perfect for artists, you can find the link in my description box and I also have a 10% off code ‘ kalliopi ‘ in case you may need it ☺️
I don't think you should've cut the skins that small....you need to practice stretching the skin and hand position. I'm learning aswell but I thought I would mention that. It can get expensive for people.
Heey there, thank you so much for watching and for letting me know your thoughts, yes I did cut them a bit too small but they are still great for quick small design practicing, I try not to extend the design far to the edges because then the skin vibrates a lot. With fake skin you can't really practice stretching ,only the habit of having your mind locked to do it because it doesn't really stretch ,just hand position to keep it down as you also mentioned but then again a desk flat surface isn't really close to the experience of a human body. Happy to have you here and and share info, learning tattooing has so many things hehe, wish you all the best.
good for you and everything but why aren't you guys trying to get apprenticeships.. I have so many clients with messed up skin from friends trying to tattoo them after watching videos like these and I'm talking scars and infections not to mention bad tattoos Q_Q
Hey thank you so much for being here, I can really hear your worries that's why I most importantly try to showcase how careful and thoughtful I and anyone trying to learn tattooing should be, but also the tattooing learning process has changed a lot through the years, now there are so many resources and great classes from amazing tattoo artists around the world online, that I could never approach locally, sharing so much knowledge, most of the tattoo artists gatekeep especially the ones that are in the industry the longest while at the same time being a woman makes it even harder, making it so uncomfortable to be around an apprentice position,at least in my experience. Having a good mentor can be so great and help you get there even faster but at the same time learning by yourself, I believe, is a great and legit way if you use the available tools and resources responsibly and put the hard work and effort it would need in either case. 🧡
Hey there, thanks for your thoughts. I was actually trying to shade and not pack and there are so many shading techniques outthere but I am still learning so open to any advice ✨️ have a great day 🙃

Beautiful water color
Something that you can do to make the cutting of the skins easier is taking some oil on the tip of the blade before cutting
Thank you so much for watching and for the tip but they were already pretty easy to cut, super soft and satisfying 🧡

no offence but ure doing the stencil wrong, its supposed to trace onto another piece of paper no on the same one ure using

Your doing great don't stop your shading will grow lines are solid tho !!!!
