Great video! That little fish in the creek is a crescent grunter, they’re surprisingly hardy and make good live bait for jewies and other species if that’s your thing :)
Another week another video ! Thanks for all the support 🎉 the videos will keep coming ! Comment your thoughts and if you have ever been fishing in 1770 !!
Hey mate! Looks amazing!! I’m going to North Queensland soon for fishing mostly. Mostly want to do land based GT fishing. Do you have some general recommendations or tips for areas? On one hand around cairns/Whitsundays seems good but it looks like a boat is almost necessary for good fishing. I think up north around Siesa and Cape York would be better as there’s less fishers and it’s warmer! What are your thoughts and if you have general tips for someone going up north for fishing I would definitely love to hear it!!
@@MSYSie hey ! Thanks for the question ! I’ve only just started heavy fishing myself so wouldn’t be very reliable for tips !! Nor have I gone very far up north chasing gt Ahhaha !! And any good spots are usually very secret ! But will keep you posted as I’m planning on discovering all these areas !!
Was up there a few weeks back and saw a guy walking back to the carpark with a tuna he could barely carry! Sucks you didn't get anything
@@haydos88 oh yeah ! That’s sick ! That rock is the spot to get them. Will definitely be going back there to put in the hours !

Those rock cod are okay eating if you nab a few of them. Generally 2pp does the job for a feed
