Lynn, I am proudly Ugandan.. here in the UAE. I enjoy yo show, this particular one, I just want to believe God is communicating to me. I hv been or still in a toxic relationship, coz I hv not been sure if this my high school classmate really means it! He just found me a through Facebook and he confesses he has been looking for me after 20years now... So I just feel this story is telling me to watch out for the same! Oh God help me! I love yo show❤❤❤❤❤
My regret as well is to get married in my 20s . I didnt know better. But I now know better and God is making things beautiful for me again.. I am starting life again in my 30s after a divorce with 3 beautiful children. My case was more of emotional, mental abuse coupled with neglect carrying the entire family's burden and reached a point of no return where I broke down completely. Still recovering but I thank God for how far He is brought me. Thank you Jesus. I know I will find love again and experience the life God has always wanted for me.
I don't think you made any mistakes in your 20s, my dear .Sometimes life has to take curves, and there is a reason for that. Also, blended family is not easy .Not all that glitters is gold.
it was a good story..never pressure anyone to marry.stop looking at us past 30 who are not married and no children like we are weird.Let God write our love stories. We also need to heal from traumas so that we avoid treating people badly
I'm glad to have walked with her since 2016. I can attest there's God who answers prayers. Thanks gal for making Jesus famous through your story. More marital bliss ❤
Hello Lynn, I've been a consistent listener of your videos, and I've noticed the recurring theme of gratitude when you say, “I do not take this for granted.” It's a powerful expression that resonates with your audience. I wanted to offer a few alternative variations that you might find useful in conveying a similar sentiment: 1. “I truly appreciate this.” 2. “I don't take this lightly.” 3. “I am grateful for this opportunity.” 4. “I value every moment.” These variations could add a touch of diversity to your message while maintaining the essence of gratitude that you consistently convey. Keep up the fantastic work! Best regards, Bernard
So inspiring, some of us gave up on love after being disappointed by the people we trust so much,When I here stories like these ones i still believe that there is a God of a second chance
I can relate with your story madam, I also divorced at 26. A very young and innocent girl. Abused and heartbroken. Thanks for raising my hopes, I will also get my life partner may God hasten him wherever he is
It doesnt matter the age you get married at..the problem comes in when you marry the wrong person...but its never too late to start over again and rebuild yourself from scratch😊
Very true, the age doesn't matter and true that marrying a wrong person late is even worse. It gets late for you to heal and rebuild yourself.... I am a victim of that, I married at 29, it didn't work out. I had to first take care of my two children and was delayed to find love again.... At 50 now, it's when I am open for love again Imagine!!!😂😂
I did a cohabiting at 19 married at 20 , divorced at 23 got married again at 25 however lasted for 14 years , I would advice younger sisters please never marry young, never seatle for abuse thinking they will change you lost yourself in such relationships. What I know today I wish I did before, No regrets Everything happens for a reason and it’s for good to those who love the lord.
I did at 19 one daughter, but it never lasted and my baby passed away since I wasn't even capable of raising her, the year 2004, my mum passed away in January my daughter may, i never wanted anything to do with marriage again. Now am 39 getting married next weekend in Europe... ukipata the one marriage is a beautiful thing.
Wish she broke down the challenges, many of us got married on our 20s, still stuck in lonely marriages but hanging on, some divinely so.....others lack of better options...l feel her story is all about another chance bur l don't hear triumph. Maybe will share mine one day, been in 28years of am abusive marriage worsen after losing a job 2016...l am I my early 50s holding strong.....l trust God to make a beautiful story
Triumph is her getting her health back and getting someone who is mentally physically financially and emotionally supportive. She would probably have died from depression or disabled if she had stayed.
I went through the same thing my sister. It brings me solace I was not alone. Emotional abuse is severer than physical abuse. I also opted out. God is still God for me and moving on with my life.
She respects the ex husband by not exposing him. This is exactly my story ,his relatves covered him saying a family cannot be broken etc yet they know his behavior so well. Addded to it if the person is narcissistic its worse
Hi lynn ..am soo encouraged by his beautiful lady..i have also been separated for 5 yrs now av been emotionally abused...physically abused and i alsodecided to end my abusive marriage..am now leavin happily with my four children as a single mum..
I'm really happy that she's brought up the issue of parental expectations for their children to take care of them. Please, let's not put that pressure on them. Kid's here in America are working endlessly to take care of their parents instead of focusing on education to secure their future. I remember my mom telling me and my siblings that they didn't want or expect anything from us. That took a lot of pressure off us. Eventually we all went onto successful careers and businesses and when mom got sick, we took care of her selflessly. She had money but we didn't want her to spend it on Healthcare. Please let's learn to let our kids build themselves up without too much pressure and obligation
I already love your parents. I want to be such a parent, even better. Black tax is killing some of us out here😢. But the good thing is that I am aware of the black tax and other burdens put on children's shoulders and I must end it.
@@IconicFuture341 Amen. I'm doing the same with my daughter. I've told her that her money is for her to keep. In fact, we are the ones who will leave her an inheritance
And there is siblings' expectations too, one thinks you will carry all their loads. I have learned to say no without feeling guilty. The best thing I did was to set my goals and budget before putting anyone else first. Off course healthy boundaries help too.
@@martha4577 you are very smart. When my siblings were working on projects, they would come to me for money, even though I hadn't built myself up yet. I had to eventually say no. It angered them but they finally got the point
These rebuilding series have really rebuilt me.Very inspiring and I always learn something new. That algorithm maneno it is to be tried .Thank you Lynn for being a blessing and changing people's lives.Cheers to many more as we get about to welcome the new year 2024.
Very true you can always bounce back . God first. Am a witness of myself, from a very abusive marriage with my 3 kids oh my Jesus to.............. God is Faithful . .

I went through depression, neglect, abuse, thinking things will change for more than a decade....I wish walked out immediately I saw red flags, in their family I was blanded Mkikuyu, and bad woman, I lost everything in my life. It is a very inspiring story.
Esther Watene.....once my classmatte in high schoo. Thanks for shaaring. I like yourr faith in God and the bit of prayer and fasting. You are blessed gal!
Walking out should be normalized, it should be a national sensitization campaign. Right now, we are dealing with this as my cousin spent this Christmas in a coma in ICU, and is currently cold in the morgue due to spouse battery. This matter is very infuriating knowing that the perpetrator is still freeee and her young kids have to reconcile with the trauma of being witnesses to this evil and additionally grow up without a mother just like that!!😢😓
If your friends leave, don't let them back in. That season is over. You can forgive but move on far away from them. The devil doesn't play games. Trust me those will show their claws again at some point.
Wonderful inspiration..it's high time we fight this monster called what will people say..infact only haters do follow ones life to celebrate defeat..go for what you want and create your happiness.. because adversity times creates itself.. Good work Lynn ❤❤
As long as you are not the problem in your first marriage,God will vindicate you and give you a second beautiful chance to relive your life.God is faithful.most men think that once you have two or more kids you are done and they can treat you anyhow.let me tell you emotional neglect is the worst thing that can happen to you in marriage.

This happened to me too. I got married simply because I was pregnant with his child. I didn't realize he was an alcoholic until we moved in together 😢. It was a living hell, I didn't know how irrational, irresponsible and demeaning alcoholics can be. I carried the entire load but when I decided to leave, everyone, including his family and mine were pressuring me to stay. They were more concerned about him than me and my daughter. They assumed I would be okay since I had a good job, but they didn't take into account the suffering I had endured for 7 years. I love this conversation. For sure some parents think their kids are their retirement. That is too much pressure for them. Best thing is to give them a chance to want to help after establishing themselves.
I want to attest to the fact that how old you are when you get married isn't usually the problem. So please give yourself some grace. I got married in my early 30's but it still failed. The person you get married to makes all the difference. Alcoholism complicates things even more. Thats what ended my marriage.
she means she entered it young and with no education. Being young means you are easily manipulated and naive. At 30's or above you do it knowingly and if it fails it means one was not keen on red flags
Aki when you lose a job that's the time you understand at work you have zero friends.... I have learnt to learn to trust in God, and above all my husband who always and always has supported me .....God gave me a second chance too, with my current husband.... ❤❤❤Esther you have spoken for me...
