    Recently featured on 'At Your Leisure'! FYI, the color looks off and some story details are wrong, but otherwise it's really cool.

    Outstanding work and attention to detail. What a great model year and the story of where it came from. Colors stand out as well. I have a 1972 Cheyenne with 402 bbc; it is dark blue and white.

    I know I speak for thousands of people here on TH-cam . I am excited about seeing the truck as a finished project . I know everyone has their own ideas , mine would be to NOT to drive the Truck , but to admire it as a Brand New one in a showroom setting . your work is amazing ! . Thank You for sharing a piece of Automobile History . Ray in Pa.

    Thank you so much for sharing your Lambrecht Chevrolet Truck with all us Tubers. I was blown away with this whole story of a dealer that would never sell his used trade in`s. And even more strange he drove "NEW" vehicles to what was called his farm turned off the engine and just left them there, of course vandals stole parts and broke windows out on many of the vehicles. such a shame these vehicles were not stored inside for 50 years. Anyway I am so happy what you are doing for your Truck and for sharing it with us. Please continue to post progress of the restoration .

      I would like to know how this dealer stayed in business buying these vehicles from GM and never selling them also taking used vehicles as trade-ins and leaving them to rot in a field.

      Ripper you need to look up Auto grave yards here on youtube, The are thousands and thousands of unsold, brand new vehicles, in the grave that will not be sold as these were.

    If you don't mind me asking what was the final bid for your truck, and was there a lot of challenging bids? also why didn't you buy two or three trucks or cars from that auction for restoration and re-sale, or to have one to drive and one to show ??? I know, too many questions, lol !!!

      +Bob Lantis Yes ! With the history and miles it would lower its value to drive it. Only a fool would drive it. Going to be an awesome collector truck.

    • @MrCoffeekelly
      @MrCoffeekelly 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      the miles are meaningless when it's been completely restored. half the parts aren't even original.

    what the auctioneers should have done is sell the cars one week, then the next week have an auction of the cataloged parts for the buyers of the car/trucks, those buying the restoration cars had the parts to buy right there, it just needed the right organisation .

    It’s sad they couldn’t keep these trucks under cover, it would have been worth it, I bought my 02 Chevy truck brand new, it has 30k miles, all ways in garage, theirs literally no rust at all, and it’s a Arizona truck it doesn’t rain a lot here! I’ll never sell my truck! People ask me all the time!
