When you are tying your ribbon, to get a nice bow, use the lower ribbon that comes out of the knot to make your first loop. A dressmaker told me always remember B for Bottom for Bow. Makes a perfect bow each time.
Once my kids got to teens and were supposedly bored by the whole Christmas I had to get inventive to get them excited . One of the tricks I used was I wrapped all the gifts with no tags so they shook and felt all they wanted but couldn’t figure out if what they asked for was there. Christmas morning I told them what colour paper their gifts were wrapped in, another year I switched tags so they were very confused. I wrapped a small jewelry sized box for each and told them that was their best gift, they figured I bought them jewelry instead of the big things they’d asked for. Christmas morning they were told where to look for the actual gift. Then the final year they were all living at home I did a treasure hunt sending them all over the place outside and in to find a cache of their gifts locked in the boot of the car which I’d lined with pretty wrapping paper. It was as much fun thinking up new foiles as it was watching them figure them out. Each year they would try to guess what trick Santa ( us) might pull on them. Hope you get a day of rest now you’re shopped out and before the cooking/ baking begins. 🙋🏼♀️

On Christmas eve i try to get to my parents grave.My brother lives in Scandinavia so its up to me to look after our parents grave. Then i feed the donkey on my lane.We have a close relationship. I walk while everyone around me run.Its my favourite day of the season. Calm and bright. 🎄 Helen the "Bull Dog" range is very pure.My don loves the facial wash.I say this because i didn't realise how good it was.No harmful chemicals. I was quite surprised.

I have a feeling it's a Yorkshire thing, I could be wrong. I've seen the wrapping videos and it looks so nice. I am struggling with wrapping the big tubs of sweets. Just can't get the hang of the gathering right xx
If you put it on its side and then wrap into a cylinger and then snip the paper down the sides, if that makes sense you can just tuck it onto the tub and tape. Probably sounds more difficult than it is. xx
